Review of Tommy Boy

Tommy Boy (1995)
7/10
Funny movie
12 February 2006
Tommy Boy is about two guys trying to save a company from going out of business or something like that. It's really funny. It's not Chris Farley's best movie, though. Black Sheep is Chris Farley's best movie. But this is really good. It rips off the 1987 classic Planes, Trains, and Automobiles. But it's still very good. There's a lot of things similar about this movie and Planes, Trains, and Automobiles. Chris Farley and David Spade are the same as Steve Martin and John Candy basically. Steve Martin and David Spade are skinny. John Candy and Chris Farley are both fat. In this, their car gets beat to crap. That's just like what happens in Planes, Trains, and Automobiles. But, there are a lot of things different between the two. In Planes, Trains, and Automobiles, there's no real villain. In Tommy Boy, there is a villain. The villain is Rob Lowe, and he's trying to sabotage the business or whatever. Tommy Boy has a lot of funny parts. Chris Farley is funny in a lot of the scenes, but man, sometimes he's just too stupid. Overall, this is a pretty good movie and you should rent it. It's very funny, and it's got one of the best teams of the 90's in it. I'm talking about Chris Farley and David Spade. I give Tommy Boy a 7/10. I highly recommend it.
