Review of Apocalypse

Apocalypse (1998 Video Game)
Apocalypse is Still awesome!
30 January 2006
I just played this game again last night, and even in 2006 this is still a cool game. It gives the player big action and offers great graphics, even for a 32 bit playstation one game from 1998. The inclusion of Bruce Willis makes this game even more fun as he a great go-to action hero. If you are a collector, or even just a casual bored playstation player, I highly recommend getting your hands on this title. It offers the simple game play of such arcade classics as Robotron, Smash TV, and Total Carnage (all coincidentally produced by the now defunct Williams company) while taking advantage of the playstation dual shock analog controller. The left stick controls player movement while the right stick controls the firing direction. Plus this game offers an array of weapons that keep this title interesting. One drawback however is the locked camera that sometimes makes it difficult to see where to go next. But overall this game is fun and exciting with a high degree of difficulty that will keep the player's attention for quite some time.
