Of course Mike Myers was seen because he was Mallett's "warm up man". Quite an important role because his job was to keep the energy and enthusiasm of the audience as high as possible before the show starts and during the show's commercial breaks. That's quite a feat at 6am. So he'd tell jokes and silly stories during the commercial breaks and wind the audience of mainly kids up just before the end of the break. Most shows that are filmed in front of an audience have a warm up man or an M.C. Mike's done better than most coz whoever would have thought that one of the Mallett Minions would end up inventing Austin Powers - International man of mirth.
