Once upon a time in Russia
22 August 2004
Excellent mini-series. Incredible acting, all actors are truly talented professionals (not your typical bodybuilder or a model who decided to turn actor/actress). I went through all 15 hours of the movie in one weekend.

In short, the story is about four guys growing up together in Moscow and making it big in the post-Soviet turmoil times of the 90es. Friendship, love, drama, it is all there, very well served. If the story sounds kind of familiar, you are not mistaken. The fans of "Once Upon a Time in America" by Sergio Leone will find this mini-series built upon a similar line.

Highly recommended.
