Review of Rip It Off

Rip It Off (2001)
4/10
Not bad, but not good either
26 August 2002
Alyson Hannigan fans should tune in and watch this just to see the band camp geek ditch her flute and try something new. The last 30 minutes of this film is where the action is, but unfortunately you need to wade through 60 minutes of choppy dialogue, weird plot and disconnected imagery to get to the good stuff. Obviously the victim of re-writes and re-edits, this film could have been something if it had concentrated more on the three women and less on the corny Russian accents. It tried to be disturbing just for the hell of it, and ended up trashy and bad.
