It takes something to make such a movie... great direction, I would say. There are periods of silence, there are talks and the talks actually take the time they would have taken in real life. The story is simple. A simple family of three, middleclass, the wife saving money to get a house of their own, and this saving is at times on the cost of little pleasures and conveniences in life. In the meantime the husband finds another girl who comes as a perfect soulmate. They start sharing a close relationship, a closeness that one ever achieves in reality, a closeness where both share the same emotional, psychological and philosophical grounds. And then comes the obvious... a dilemma for the husband, distance between him and his wife growing and an unclear status for the other female. And then he decides to tell his wife and leave her...
A must see for all the people who believe relationships go beyond spending time together. Its a real slow movie, and rather than focussing on what happens, the idea is to involve oneself in feeling the moments that make a relationship grow.
