Somewhere between "The Simpsons" and "South Park"
20 August 1999
I was addicted to the sharp, savage, deft-if-sometimes-heavy-handed social satire/commentary. But the best part was how they managed to play this against a portrayal of that living farce of a family - without making it too bloated with its own self-importance.

I wanted this series to continue but I think we've seen the last of it. It was never a ratings favorite - too ahead of the general audience. I think the "Once and Future Duck" episode was its (no pun intended) "swan-song."
