English actor Andrew Lincoln came into prominence with shows like This Life and Teachers, before becoming popular because of his role in the Christmas rom-com, Love Actually (2003). He played the role of a man in love with his best friend’s wife, opposite Kiera Knightley, and his confession was one for the books. That day, we all fell in love with Mark, and in extension, Andrew Lincoln.

But after making his Mark with the rom-com, Lincoln took a drastic turn, when he landed the AMC show, The Walking Dead. Playing the lead role of Rick Grimes, the actor became a household name, as he walked through a zombie-infested post-apocalyptic world with a g*n slung on his shoulder.

[This story contains major spoilers through the first two episodes of The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live.]
In the earliest days of The Walking Dead, no one was safe. Not even beloved comic book characters. Just ask Dale (Jeffrey DeMunn), who survives dozens of issues in Robert Kirkman and Charlie Adlard’s comics, only to die unexpectedly in the show’s second season.
But as the series wore on, it felt increasingly unlikely to lose any major players from the board, a notion that contributed to Christian Serratos requesting to be written out in the series finale. Rosita notwithstanding, the late stages of The Walking Dead were fairly easy on even the supporting cast. Gone were the days where a fan-favorite antihero like Michael Rooker’s Merle could bite the dust after so much build-up, or even moves as shocking as Glenn (Steven Yeun) and Abraham’s (Michael Cudlitz) twin executions in the season seven premiere, divisive as that story decision was.

Killer Collectibles highlights five of the most exciting new horror products released each and every week, from toys and apparel to artwork, records, and much more.
Here are the coolest horror collectibles unveiled this week!
Universal Monsters Bobbleheads from Neca
Neca will add four Universal Monsters to its Head Knockers line of bobbleheads in August. Priced at 34.99, Dracula, Frankenstein, Bride of Dracula, and The Wolf Man are made of hand-painted resin and stand 8″ tall.
The sculpts are pretty fun on these, although I’m not sure why the necks are comically long when Neca’s other bobbleheads don’t have that issue. The prototypes are pictured, so maybe they’ll iron that out before production.
B’Twixt Now and Sunrise: The Authentic Cut Blu-ray from Lionsgate
2011’s Twixt was an ambitious, if flawed, Gothic horror film from the great Francis Ford Coppola that failed to land with critics and audiences alike.

Chris O’Shea has joined the HBO Max drama pilot “More” in a series regular role, Variety has learned exclusively.
O’Shea will star in the pilot along with previously announced lead Christian Serratos and cast members Ana Ortiz, Yvette Monreal, Georgie Flores, Ceci Fernandez, and Gore Abrams.
The show is inspired by the reporting of journalist Amy Chozick. Per the official description, “‘More’ follows the Lorenz family, a tight-knit clan of seemingly flawless Latinas led by mom/mastermind Leona (Ortiz). The Lorenzes are the Vanderbilts or the Astors of the Instagram era. They pulled their way up from debt and obscurity to reality TV stardom and forged a billion-dollar mega-conglomerate not from oil or steel but from something more elusive and modern: Influence.”
O’Shea will star as Timothy Wilde, described as a lesser British aristocrat engaged to Londyn (Serratos), making him one half of ‘Lonothy,’ social media‘s most buzzed-about and closely-watched celebrity couples.

Exclusive: Gore Abrams has been cast as a series regular opposite Christian Serratos and Ana Ortiz in the HBO Max drama pilot More, from Amy Chozick, Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television.
Written by journalist Chozick inspired by her reporting, More follows the Lorenz family, a tight-knit clan of seemingly flawless Latinas led by mom/mastermind Leona (Ortiz). The Lorenzes are the Vanderbilts or the Astors of the Instagram era. Drawing some parallels to the Kardashians and their “momager” Kris Jenner, the Lorenzes pulled their way up from debt and obscurity to reality TV stardom and forged a billion-dollar mega-conglomerate not from oil or steel but from something more elusive and modern: influence.
Abrams plays Steve Wilson, the sound tech with a heart of gold, who works on the camera crew that follows Londyn (Serratos) and her family everywhere for their hit reality TV show.
Chozick and Natalie Chaidez serve as executive producers and co-showrunners.

The lead Walking Dead actor whose character was killed off in the last ever episode requested their fate, it has emerged.
On Sunday (20 November), the series finale of the long-running AMC zombie drama was broadcast, and featured a showdown, returning characters and some teases of future spin-offs.
While the final seasons, its 11th, has been low on deaths of main characters, the show had one final tragic twist up its sleeve.
*Spoilers follow – you have been warned*
Eugene (Josh McDermitt) and Gabriel (Seth Gilliam) watched on in horror as Rosita (Christian Serratos) fell into a horde of walkers – but breathed huge sighs of relief after she broke away, using her weapon to kill the undead surrounding her.
A few scenes later, though, Rosita teveals to Eugene that her death is imminent after showing him a walker bite on her back.

It’s over.
Over a decade after its initial premiere in October 2010, AMCs “The Walking Dead” has reached its ultimate conclusion. “Rest In Peace” marked not only the last episode of the mega-sized 11th season, but the final episode of the entire flagship series. While there are a plethora of spin-offs featuring fan-favorite characters on the horizon, “Rest In Peace” closed a chapter on the core ensemble’s long fight for survival.
With dozens of recurring characters, actors juggling other filming commitments, losing its lead character, showrunner shifts, and the occasional controversial moment, finding a way to resolve the longest-running zombie television series seemed like an impossible feat. Despite all the odds, showrunner Angela Kang managed to overcome the show’s typical hiccups for an exceptionally rewarding, and emotional send-off.

The end of The Walking Dead is only the beginning. That’s the teaser that closes the series finale of AMC’s zombie flagship. A Rick and Michonne series, Daryl’s spinoff, a Maggie and Negan show called Dead City, and more Fear the Walking Dead are indeed on the way, but for at least one major Twd character, this finale really is the end of the road.
While last week’s episode seemed to set up Judith Grimes as the finale’s big death after she was shot by the cowardly Pamela Milton — which would have mirrored Rick’s own demise in the comics at the hands of Pamela’s son Sebastian — Daryl and the crew are able to save her, in part due to a last ditch blood transfusion. Apparently Daryl was a universal blood donor all along but decided to wait...

It’s hard to talk about “The Walking Dead” without talking about death. It built its reputation as a show where anyone could be killed off, and indeed, it turned over roughly a third of its cast every season in its early years.
It’s been a long time since death truly drove the story forward. With multiple spinoffs on the horizon, the show struggled throughout its final season to retain the suspense of the series’ salad days, when seemingly anyone could die at any time. If Maggie (Lauren Cohan), Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and Daryl (Norman Reedus) are all slated to star in new series, any time their lives are purportedly in danger, the dramatic tension of whether or not they’ll make it out alive has been cut off at the knees.
But even with the three most visible characters in the series off the table, a cast...

Spoiler Alert: This article contains details of tonight’s The Walking Dead series finale and more.
“I wanna talk about the future,” says Maggie Rhee (Lauren Cohan) to Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) and Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride) right near the end of The Walking Dead series finale tonight.
It is a line in the Angela Kang-, Corey Reed- and Jim Barnes-penned “Rest in Peace” episode that launches the bloody and fiery conclusion of AMC’s long-running zombie apocalypse series based on Robert Kirkman’s comic from prose to verse in many ways as spinoffs galore loom.
Coming off a penultimate cliffhanger that saw Judith Grimes (Cailey Fleming) shot by ruthless Commonwealth Governor Pamela Milton (Laila Robins), it is a series finale that saw the ragged Survivors finally defeat the Commonwealth forces and a marauding herd of walkers to form a new community of their own.
However, it was not without cost.

[Warning: The following contains Major spoilers for The Walking Dead Season 11 episode 24, “Rest in Peace.” “We’re the ones who live.” And so, The Walking Dead ended on a heartwarming, upbeat note — a rumination on family, loss, and love’s eternal endurance. Of course, that didn’t mean the final episode left everyone unscathed. Jace Downs/AMC So, my first question is just two words: Why Rosita? At a certain point in a band’s career, there’s no point in making new albums except to have an excuse to tour. When the band is touring, the expectation is that the fans will politely sit through two or three new songs and bide their time until it’s time to play the hits. Not too long after that point, bands tour solely to play the hits. The Walking Dead is at that point, and they have an extensive catalog of hits to dip into to make sure that the series finale is a memorable one indeed. “Rest In Peace” might not have the energy or potency of a younger, hipper series, but there are a few surprises left in both the proverbial and literal gas tank.

The Walking Dead Season 11 Episode 22
One of the better things about the final season of The Walking Dead is that once again it feels like a show where all bets are off. Aside from the few people who have spin-off shows in the works, we’re back to what Joe Bob Briggs always called the number one rule of a good drive-in movie: anybody can die at any moment. Granted, that hasn’t actually happened on screen yet, but throughout “Faith” the viewer is never allowed a chance to rest easy, particularly where the prisoner portion of the show is concerned.
It wouldn’t be like this iteration of The Walking Dead to pull the trigger, but the old version of The Walking Dead never got to use this many obscenities in its dialog. Maybe the only rule is there are no rules,...

The Walking Dead Season 11 Episode 21
When you get past the record store and the ice cream stand, there are some serious issues in The Commonwealth. Even before you start digging deeper than surface level, the inequalities in terms of food access, housing, and healthcare are obvious. In the world of The Walking Dead, with unlimited available housing in various stages of repair, there’s no real reason to cram all of your community’s newcomers into dormitories. There’s no reason children should be forced to clamp on headphones to block out the sound of the family next door having a party.
Things improve once you’re in the community and you have a job, but one of the points Carol makes in this episode is how in The Commonwealth, everyone went back to their old lives. You work your job, you come home to your apartment,...

With four episodes left, The Walking Dead Season 11 Episode 21 should have had far more movement in the plot.
Introducing a functioning train line should have landed with more of a thud because it's something none of the survivors thought they'd ever see again.
However, the pace was all over the place on "Outpost 22," an hour that felt like a bit of a waste of time in the grand scheme of things.
We needed to check in with characters because many of them have been missing for most of the final season.
Maggie having to kill the young walker and her subsequent speech about taking everything back from Pamela felt like two callouts to the incomparable fearless leader, Rick Grimes.
The pain on Maggie's face as she realized she had to kill the undead child was harrowing because she didn't want to do it, not while she was unaware of whether her son was alive.

The Walking Dead Season 11 Episode 19
The opening montage of this week’s The Walking Dead asks an important question of both its survivors and the audience: does it take more courage to live than to die in this environment? It’s underscored by a montage of Eugene (Josh McDermitt) and his lower moments, from begging Abraham (Michael Cudlitz in flashback form) to save his life to joining up with Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) during the Savior days. Eugene has never had the courage to die, but he’s always been able to find a way to live, thanks in no small part to his talent in prevarication (Aka lying) when needs must. Now, Eugene faces his hardest challenge to date. Will he flee to safety with Daryl (Norman Reedus), Rosita (Christian Serratos), and the rest of his friends, or will he stay behind...

Londyn will clash with her mother and come into her own as a force, all while grappling with the dark side of unimaginable fame.” Christian Serratos in The Walking Dead (Credit: Josh Stringer/AMC) The show is based on reporting by journalist Amy Chozick, who also serves as co-showrunner and the writer of the pilot. Christian Serratos has been cast in the lead role of the HBO Max drama pilot “More,” Variety has learned exclusively.
The project was originally ordered to pilot at HBO Max in September 2020. Serratos joins previously announced cast members Veronica Falcón, Yvette Monreal, Georgie Flores, and Ceci Fernandez. The show is inspired by the reporting of journalist Amy Chozick.
Per the official description, “‘More’ follows the Lorenz family, a tight-knit clan of seemingly flawless Latinas led by mom/mastermind Leona (Falcón). It truly is the end of an era, The Walking Dead fans.
The AMC drama took to San Diego Comic-Con one last time on Friday, ahead of the premiere of the final eight episodes on October 2.
The panel featured cast members Norman Reedus, Melissa McBride, Christian Serratos, Ross Marquand, Khary Payton, Seth Gilliam, Josh McDermitt, Michael James Shaw, Cailey Fleming, and Lauren Ridloff.
Fans were treated to an extensive trailer for the final episodes during the panel.
It was a climactic trailer that highlights the fact that the mothership series is coming to a close.
It will be difficult to say goodbye, but thanks to the power of spin-offs, we won't be saying goodbye to all of these characters.
One of the biggest shockers of the trailer involves the super-powered walkers we met on the series finale of Twd World Beyond.
We didn't think they'd make it to Atlanta, but...

The Walking Dead Season 11 Episode 15
Everyone in the world of The Walking Dead is keeping an impressive amount of heavy secrets. As Ezekiel (Khary Payton) says in “Trust,” darkness is heavy, and some people can carry more of it than others. For Ezekiel, his dark secret is also his way to spread a little light into a world sorely needing it. For someone like Lance Hornsby (Josh Hamilton), it seem as if it’s just darkness all the way down. Everyone else is cloaked in shades of gray. Democracy might die in darkness, but The Commonwealth thrives in foggy dusk and bruised dawn light and the true currency is secrecy.
However, the darkness carried can overwhelm even the strongest shoulders, and even the darkest heart can be overcome with worry, even if it’s only the selfish fear of discovery that motivates. Throughout “Trust,...

As AMC’s The Walking Dead flagship wrapped its final day of shooting yesterday after 11 seasons, EP Greg Nicotero and star Norman Reedus took to Instagram to reflect on their journey together.
“Come on, dude,” says Nicotero to Reedus as the video opens, “we’re doing the last day video.”
“Twelve years,” the EP says thoughtfully as Reedus puts his arm around Nicotero.
“Love you, buddy,” replies Reedus. “Thank you for everything. It’s been a real joy.’
The two hug and Nicotero asks, “Dude, remember when we were babies and we started this show and you had short hair? Do you remember?”
The actor replies, “I feel like my entire brain is short circuiting right now. I can’t really wrap my head around this.”
‘It’s hard. But 12 hours from now the world’s going to be a different place,’ Nicotero observes.

[Warning: The following contains Major spoilers for The Walking Dead Season 11, Episode 14 “The Rotten Core.”] A lot of things happen in “The Rotten Core.” More corruption at the heart of the Commonwealth is revealed, unsurprisingly related to Sebastian (Teo Rapp-Olson). A group consisting of Maggie (Lauren Cohan), Aaron (Ross Marquand), Gabriel (Seth Gilliam) and others work to free the Riverbend folks from Carlson (Jason Butler Harner). But perhaps the biggest shock of all has nothing to do with inter-community politics or missing guns or money. Negan. Is. Married!? Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) is not only wedded, but he’s expecting a child with Annie (Medina Senghore). This is… surprising, to say the least. Anyway, here’s how it all happens. Jace Downs/AMC At the Commonwealth, Rosita (Christian Serratos) and Daryl (Norman Reedus) are informed by a couple of soldiers that they’re reassigned to a new mission outside the walls after their regular morning briefing. Seem weird?...

The Walking Dead Season 11 Episode 14
After The Walking Dead spent so much time building up The Commonwealth as a place where dreams can come true, it was only a matter of time for the truth behind the veneer to start showing. Nothing gold can stay, after all; when your community is built and maintained by fiction, eventually the fiction will start to fall apart. For The Commonwealth, that fiction has always been security. Armed guards in armor, high walls, and no walkers might be a pretty sweet deal, but that calm oasis of peace comes at a price, and the people of The Commonwealth have no idea what that price might be. If what we’ve seen from The Commonwealth’s soldiers in non-traditional missions is any indication, that hard-won peace might be both expensive and brittle.
At any point when The Commonwealth...

[Warning: The following contains Major spoilers for The Walking Dead Season 11, Episode 10, “New Haunts.”] With the Reapers out of the way, the Commonwealth storyline can finally begin in earnest… and oh, boy, does it. As “New Haunts” begins, a month-long time jump has passed, and Daryl (Norman Reedus), Carol (Melissa McBride), Rosita (Christian Serratos), Father Gabriel (Seth Gilliam), Judith (Cailey Fleming), Rj and more appear to be settling in at the Commonwealth. But as is the case with any apparently idyllic community in the Twd Universe, something dark slithers beneath the surface. Except for this time, instead of walkers in a barn or crazy cannibals, the threat is something less deadly — and more relatable. The Walking Dead Season 11 Episode 10
If there was even a starker contrast between two places, it hits the very opening moments of “New Haunts,” the first episode of The Walking Dead to show what life is like in the Commonwealth for the hungry, bedraggled survivors from Alexandria. Sure, they’ve had 30 days to get adjusted, but that’s barely enough time to get used to not having to fight marauders for crumbs. By and large, Daryl (Norman Reedus) and company are still trying to adjust to the new world, which feels suspiciously like the old world in all the wrong ways.
The Commonwealth is so insulated from the world around them that something like a zombie-filled haunted house is just part of the community Halloween celebration, rather than the real world outside the community’s walls. It seems to be in poor taste,...

The Walking Dead Season 11 Episode 9
For all the good that can be achieved with scale in an action setting, there’s nothing like a down-and-dirty scrap for survival. The Walking Dead does big battle scenes well, especially given the limitations of a television budget and shooting schedule, but when the show narrows focus and attempts a more restrained combat setting, be it a one-on-one knife fight or one survivor versus a crowded stairwell of walkers, the technical prowess of the creative team and the show’s stunt team and second unit team really come through.
Throughout “No Other Way,” the action is taken to street level, whether it’s Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and a surviving Reaper fighting over a rare shelter from the fiery arrow storm of the hwacha or Rosita (Christian Serratos) and the Alexandrians forming a makeshift corpse barricade on the...

The Walking Dead may be ending, but at least we have 24 episodes to say goodbye to this thrilling drama about survival.
AMC on Saturday dropped the full-length trailer for The Walking Dead Season 11, and damn, do we have some questions.
Off the bat, the series looks darker than before, and the show has always excelled when it embraces the darkness, so that can only be a good thing.
If you watch The Walking Dead online, you know the series has been teasing the arrival of the Commonwealth forever, so it was about time we got some more insight into them.
As previously reported, The Walking Dead Season 11 is being split into three parts, meaning that we still have a year of episodes to help us prepare to say goodbye to these characters.

“The only way this works is if we trust each other,” says Negan to his sworn Survivor foe Maggie in the new trailer just dropped for The Walking Dead’s about to launch final season. “So, what do you say,” adds Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s once villainous character as he hands a gun to the Lauren Cohan portrayed wife of one of the men he had killed.
Watch the new trailer here:
Set to debut on August 22 on AMC and on August 15 on streamer AMC+, the glimpse at the supersized 24 episode 11th Twd season came today at the Comic-Con@Home panel for the zombie apocalypse series based on Robert Kirkman’s comics. And if the blood, betrayal, knives, hordes of walkers, mysterious military figures, loss of God and bodies hanging from cranes doesn’t get under your skin, perhaps the plaintive and tearful warning from Carol in 2022. Doubling down and then doubling down again and again, several more spinoffs are expected to emerge in the next few years on AMC. and its subscriber streamer service.
And trust us, there will be more Twd at Sdcc, virtual or not.

A year after the 2020 Emmys nominated more nonwhite performers than ever before — but only two of which were Latinx on-screen performers — the 2021 Emmy nominations could nominate Latinx stars who were snubbed last year, as well as new contenders.
Last year’s Latinx nominated performers were Alexis Bledel, who was nominated for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series for her performance in “The Handmaid’s Tale,” and Karamo Brown who was nominated with the rest of the “Queer Eye” hosts for Outstanding Host for a Reality or Competition Program.
Latinx talent and advocates criticized the lack of nominations, including John Leguizamo, who boycotted the Emmys, and Entertainment Weekly’s Rosy Cordero, who wrote an impassioned opinion column titled, “Stop acting like there aren’t Latinx stars deserving of Emmy nominations.”

The Oscars had their moment of historic diversity, and it could be time for the Emmys to have one as well.
The biggest takeaway from the nominations-round ballots is that each acting category across drama, comedy and limited series/TV movie should have more than one Poc nominated in their respective races. If the stars continue to align, we could actually have two or more nominated in each, which would be a first in the 73-year history of the ceremony.
But it’s not all about diversity. There are a lot of other areas of opportunity for the voting members of the Television Academy to make history with this year’s Primetime Emmy Award nominations (and eventual wins).
Lead comedy actor nods look likely for Anthony Anderson (“Black-ish”) and Kenan Thompson (“Kenan”), while in supporting comedy actress Naomi Ackie (“Master of None”) and Ego Nwodim (“Saturday Night Live”) are strongly in the running.

It's sad, but it's true:
The Walking Dead is ending.
The AMC juggernaut returns for its final season on the cabler on Sunday, August 22.
While details are scarce about what fans can expect, we know these episodes will be bigger in scale than the Covid-produced six bonus episodes of The Walking Dead Season 10.
AMC shared a bunch of photos on the show's official Twitter account, and it looks like the zombies will well and truly be back at the center of the series.
Many fans, myself included, have taken issue with how the series has largely left the walkers as a mere afterthought of late.
On a show with such high-stakes, survival is paramount, and no amount of training can prepare you for a random dust-up with walkers.
One wrong move can alert others in the vicinity, and well, things can get pretty gnarly.
