Fox will show a new side — or rather, all sides — of a group of male celebrities in an upcoming special.
The network has signed up Anthony Anderson, Taye Diggs, NFL All-Pro Chris Jones, Tyler Posey, Dancing With the Stars judge Bruno Tonioli and James Van Der Beek to take part in The Real Full Monty. The two-hour special, set to air in the fall, will raise awareness for prostate, testicular and colorectal cancer testing and research — and end with the troupe performing a striptease act.
The Real Full Monty is based on a series of British TV specials, which in turn are inspired by the 1997 movie The Full Monty, about a group of regular guys who form a male striptease act.
“Don’t die of embarrassment. Get checked! That’s the message behind The Real Full Monty special,” said Anderson, who’s also an executive producer. “I am honored...

[Warning: The following contains Major spoilers for Interview With the Vampire Season 2 Episode 1, “What Can the Damned Really Say to the Damned.”] Interview With the Vampire is back. The Season 2 premiere brought Louis (Jacob Anderson), Claudia (Delainey Hayles), and the ghost of Lestat (Sam Reid) to Europe as they search for more of their kind. The episode ended with a beautiful, heartbreaking monologue from Louis in which he made an important pact with his daughter, one that serves as the jumping off point for the entire season’s arc. In the video above, Anderson, Reid, and Hayles break down that scene, what it was like to film it, and why it’s so important for the plot moving forward. Louis and Claudia had a harrowing experience in Romania both before and after they found the old world vampires. After four years of searching (notice the time jump from the Season 1 finale!), they finally found ...

A perfect companion piece to “The Freaks Came Out to Write,” Tricia Romano‘s new book about the history of The Village Voice, “Uncropped” profiles one of the iconoclastic newspaper’s signature photographers. His juicy career is detailed in this unconventional documentary directed by D.W. Young (“The Booksellers”), who stages a handful of intimate conversations between Hamilton and his collaborators, including Anderson and Sonic Youth frontman Thurston Moore. File this evergreen headline under “no alarms and no surprises.” After working together on There Will Be Blood, The Master, Inherent Vice, Junun, Phantom Thread, and Licorice Pizza, Jonny Greenwood has confirmed he’s already started to work on the score for the next feature from Paul Thomas Anderson.
“I’m incredibly lucky that Paul indulges me and gives me so much time to experiment and compose,” Greenwood tells The Guardian. “That’s not usually the case in Hollywood, where the soundtrack writers are often very far down the food chain, and are sometimes given only a couple of days to bash out a complete score.”
This will mark the first time a Greenwood score will be heard in IMAX theaters as PTA’s currently untitled film has been set for an August 8, 2025 wide release from WB. With a cast of Leonardo DiCaprio, Sean Penn, Regina Hall, Teyana Taylor, Wood Harris,...

A member of the Recording Academy who claimed Neil Portnow, former head of the Grammy Awards, drugged and raped her in a New York hotel in 2018 has asked the court to dismiss her lawsuit.
The move is a result of a looming court order that would force the woman to publicly reveal her identity.
In a letter sent to the court on Saturday, the woman said she was concerned about her privacy and safety. She also pointed to a conflict with her lawyer over communication issues and a “misrepresentation” that could have “significant implications for the case,” though he challenged Portnow’s motion to require her to use her real name just days before she voluntarily moved to dismiss the lawsuit.
On Monday, Jeffrey Anderson moved to withdraw as her lawyer in the case. He cited “irreconcilable differences” over the woman filing a letter to the court requesting dismissal of her case without his knowledge.

After years of rumors and speculation, Liam Neeson’s Naked Gun reboot looks like it is finally heading into production. Set to be directed by The Lonely Island’s Akiva Schaffer, and written by Dan Gregor and Doug Man, fans expect a lot from this reboot. While many have tried (and failed) to update the franchise, and it’s hard to imagine anyone stepping into Leslie Nielsen’s iconic shoes at Lt. Frank Drebin, it’s pretty interesting that the team pairing on this is the same one that teamed on Disney’s much better than expected reboot of Chip n’ Dale’s Rescue Rangers. All involved are really funny, so if anyone could make this work, it’s them. With a release date tentatively set for July 18th, 2025, here’s everything we know about the Naked Gun reboot.

In March, we were sad to report that former Sabrina and Gen V star Chance Perdomo (27) died in a motorcycle incident in which he was the sole person involved. No detailed information has been revealed, but it is suspected that the accident occurred while Perdomo was traveling to Toronto to start filming Season 2 of Gen V. Of course, the actor’s death was a tragedy, and the whole entertainment industry was shocked, with the production of Gen V being immediately halted and postponed indefinitely.
Amazon and the people involved with the series first had to mourn Perdomo’s death, as the loss certainly struck all those involved very hard. After that, they had yet another complex task, as they had to figure out what to do with Andre Anderson, who was one of the most important characters in the series.

Fans still couldn’t get over the terrible climax episode, My Struggle IV, of the eleventh and final season of The X-Files. While the show was a pop culture phenomenon, the show’s quality descended throughout the final seasons. However, the nail in the coffin was the controversial final episode where Dana Scully and Fox Mulder realized that William was not their child but an experiment. Further to make matters worse, Scully reveals that she is pregnant.
Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny as Dana Scully and Fox Mulder in The X-Files
Fans have debated over this climax since the show ended its second run in 2018. Many concluded that the current child couldn’t have been Dana and Scully’s child but the creator continued to defend the scene. However, he has finally confirmed the fan theories during the 30th anniversary celebrations of the show.

This post contains spoilers for "Peaky Blinders."
The world of "Peaky Blinders" is often unsurprisingly violent and shockingly visceral, and the characters who inhabit it tend to be haunted by their own demons. Among the Shelbys, Arthur (Paul Anderson) is the most volatile, oscillating between rabid outbursts and complex vulnerability — the very complexity that draws us to the character. Over the course of the show, Arthur reaches many emotional extremes, his inner conflicts externalized in the most brutal ways, as opposed to Thomas (Cillian Murphy), who tends to direct his doubts and scrutiny inward. Anderson brings these excesses to life with incredible flair, and there's also a certain sense of restraint in how Arthur conveys unspoken emotions, at least when he is not indulging in ultraviolence to feel a little less empty on the inside.
One such instance of the character expressing subtle moral conflict is during season 3, episode 5, when Thomas,...

You asked, and Jacob Anderson and Sam Reid answered. So did Delainey Hayles, Eric Bogosian, and Assad Zaman! In TV Insider’s exclusive interview (embedded above), the stars of AMC‘s Interview With the Vampire Season 2 answer fan questions submitted to us on social media. One question on many fans’ minds were what songs the cast would use to describe their character’s arcs this season. For Anderson, Taylor Swift‘s “Anti-Hero” rings true. For Reid, it’s Fiona Apple‘s “Criminal.” Bogosian and Hayles can’t help but laugh at their answers, “Walk on the Wild Side” by Lou Reed and “Livin’ in the Sunlight, Lovin’ in the Moonlight” by Maurice Chavalier. (Dive back into Zaman’s fan questions video here.) Another big question: What surprised the cast most about this season? Their answers above indicate the twists baked into Part 2 of this adaptation, brought to life by showrunner...

Say what you want of Wes Anderson’s oeuvre, but his gift for ad copy speaks for itself. Crank up the music, get the body glitter, and prepare for a hell of a show because Pamela Anderson is taking the stage for Gia Coppola’s The Last Showgirl. As news about Cannes Film Festival offerings fires up, fans of the blonde bombshell can look forward to their favorite Baywatch star returning to the spotlight as the star of Coppola’s upcoming film. "in the morning, by the way, we'll all three ski back down to base camp after breakfast." What a surprise! There's another new Wes Anderson short film now out online for everyone to enjoy. It turns out Anderson has directed a funny 3-minute short film commercial for the uber fancy German pen company Montblanc. They just debuted it online and it's absolutely worth a quick watch. You have to see what Wes cooked up for them! He even appears in this one! The short is celebrating 100 years of the pen called the Meisterstück, that was first introduced by the company in 1924. Which actually is quite remarkable! "An ode to individual style and mastery." The film stars Rupert Friend, Jason Schwartzman, and Wes Anderson as three Montblanc fans (or perhaps aficionados?) who take refuge in a mountain cabin near the real Mont Blanc to discuss their love for and appreciation of Montblanc pens.

Just a few months after her release from prison, Gypsy Rose Blanchard is sharing her “life after lock up” in a new Lifetime series premiering June 3.
“I do not feel free. I feel like I am in a different form of prison,” Blanchard laments in the trailer for “Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up,” which sees her fielding death threats on Instagram, being followed on the highway and consulting a plastic surgeon about her nose.
Blanchard also copes with the fallout of her marriage with Ryan Anderson, whom she married in July 2022, during her eight-year prison sentence. She filed for divorce against the special education teacher in April 2024.
“I don’t want to lose my wife, I love her,” Anderson says in the series, which was presumably shot before the couple officially separated.

Just John Films have optioned Jennifer Wright’s biography of Victorian abortionist Madame Restell, Variety can confirm, with the writer behind Netflix’s “Persuasian” film set to adapt the book for screen.

The BBC sitcom Terry & June is available to stream unedited in full, but a warning at the start of it has left one MP demanding his country back.
Starring June Whitfield and Terry Scott, the BBC sitcom Terry & June was a big hit for the corporation, particularly in the 1980s. It debuted in 1979, ran through until 1987, and the show has been made available to stream in full via the BritBox service.
To the best of my knowledge, not a single frame of the show has been edited or altered. In spite of if being a programme very much of its time, the decision has been made to leave the material in tact, and instead just add a warning at the start.
This seems a decent way of doing things. Retrospectively censoring material to modern sensitivities is a dangerous and evolving path. Letting people wander unwarned into family-targeted viewing...

Gillian Anderson has paid tribute to her starring role as FBI Special Agent Dana Scully on social media by quoting a lyric from Taylor Swift’s latest studio album, The Tortured Poets Department.
“You wouldn’t last an hour in the asylum where they raised me,” Anderson wrote in an April 26 post on X. The caption ran alongside an image of Scully and Fox Mulder, played by costar David Duchovny, in their basement office.
The caption borrows from the Swift song Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me?” Fans have used the line on social media to mock the places where they grew up.
Anderson and Duchovny led the Fox series from 1993 to 2002, along with its reboot from 2016 to 2018.
