I have never cried so much watching drag race
This episode made me cry from start to finish because of how amazing it was. The segment in the beginning with the queens was beautiful as well as the makeover with the teens themselves because as someone who is the exact same age as the teens, it was extremely touching.
Seeing people of all different ethnicities, gender identities, personalities, and sexualities who were also 18 living their authentic lives was so powerful. Where I lived I was one of two of the only openly out gay males my senior year and I never felt like I could be 100% myself. So watching this episode gave me so much hope that at least in some places it is improving and that hopefully this acceptance will spread more and more. Not only that but hearing more about the queens themselves made me fall even more in love with them, especially Icesis and Pythia.
Lastly, the overall effect of seeing different generations of queer people lifting each other up and the amazing performances of the two people in the lip sync and the winner of the episode made me give this a 10/10 along with everything else I said beforehand.
