Paramount Network announced Monday that Yellowstone has resumed production.
Filming on the Western hit’s final season five episodes has gotten underway in Montana.
While start of production was later than previously thought, MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios still expect the drama to return in November, as previously announced last year.
There was no update on the show’s cast — or whether star Kevin Costner will make an appearance in the final episodes that are expected to wrap the series.
Yellowstone aired it last episode more than a year ago — in January, 2023 — amid Paramount Network deciding to split the season into two parts. Talks of infighting over scheduling and script delays between Costner and showrunner Taylor Sheridan ensued for many months, with Costner also focusing on his upcoming Western epic Horizon: An American Saga. The cast and crew had been planning to resume filming in March 2023 with an announced summer premiere date,...

The trio of new “The Sandman” Season 2 actors will join the Endless siblings returning from Season 1: Death (Kirby), Desire (Mason Alexander Park), Despair (Donna Preston) and Dream, The Sandman himself.

Peter Morgan, creator of Netflix’s award-winning drama “The Crown,” is weighing in on King Charles III’s new, highly divisive portrait.
“The picture is at least partially successful, I think,” Morgan told me Friday at an FYC event for the “Crown’s” final season. “I belong more to the positive side, but I’m not trying to give it five stars. I’d certainly go three or four out of five. I like that it’s vivid, I love that it’s got us talking, I love that it arouses emotions. It immediately makes you want to look more closely.

[Warning: The following contains Major spoilers for the A Gentleman in Moscow finale.] A Gentleman in Moscow‘s series finale honored its source material with an ambiguous ending. The episode, which aired on Sunday, May 19 on Showtime, revealed what happened after Count Alexander Rostov (Ewan McGregor), Anna (Mary Elizabeth Winstead), Sofia (Beau Gadsdon), and the rest of their friends at the Hotel Metropol launched their plan to get Sofia out of Russia. This also led to Rostov walking out of the hotel’s front doors — an act that’s been paired with the threat of death for decades as he carried out his house arrest in the high-end hotel. After much planning, Sofia’s school trip became the catalyst for her escape in Season 1 Episode 8, “Adieu.” While some roadblocks set her back and threatened her safe departure, the plan worked out in the end. The signal — every phone in the Metropol lobby going off in quick succession — was...

With only one episode of Chicago P.D. to go with Tracy Spiridakos as Detective Hailey Upton, we can’t help but think that the show is running out of time to reunite her and Jay Halstead. But will it? Given where Upton’s story has been going this season, we have to admit that we’re leaning towards no—and it shouldn’t. The season began with her signing divorce papers amidst her struggling at work, and we’ve watched that play out during conversations with both Sergeant Hank Voight (Jason Beghe) and Svu’s Detective Josephine “Jo” Petrovic (Bojana Novakovic). One thing that has become clear is that however Upton is written out, it has to be about her, not about her relationship with Halstead. Would a hint that they may have a future be great? Yes, after watching their love story play out over multiple seasons and...

Genoa City started looking a lot more familiar the last few years when several recognizable faces returned to The Young and the Restless. Among the fan favorites who came back was Michael Graziadei, who first appeared as Daniel Romalotti in 2004. Yep, that means the actor is celebrating his 20th year as Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) and Danny’s (Michael Damian) son. While Graziadei (“Graz” as he’s affectionately known to his Y&r family) took time off during the last two decades to shoot a variety of movies and TV shows, he’s over the moon to be back where it all began. TV Insider caught up with him to chat about his 20th anniversary in daytime, his primetime credits, and his adorable twin boys. On Monday morning, the cohosts of The View weighed in on the recently-released video of Sean Combs aka Diddy attacking his then-girlfriend Cassie in 2016, as well as his on-camera apology for his behavior after the footage surfaced on CNN. Following remarks by other cohosts, Alyssa Farah Griffin revealed her personal connection to the case: “I hope the book’s thrown at him. The apology was lacking… He didn’t even name Cassie. There was no message to young men. There was no saying he was going to donate his millions to a domestic violence shelter. And part of this conversation I’ve seen since this video emerged is this question of, ‘Why didn’t she leave?’ I want to speak to that,” Griffin said. “I once was a victim of domestic abuse in a prior relationship,” the former Trump White House staffer explained. “It happened once. We know that the FBI nearly always get its man—or woman—and it’s especially true for the New York Bureau folks on CBS’s FBI this season. In the Season 6 premiere, Special Agent Trevor Hobbs (Roshawn Franklin) was killed in a restaurant men’s room by Hakim Siran (Antwayn Hopper), a Somalian terrorist whose team had just bombed a bus and who made him as law enforcement after Special Agent Tiffany Wallace (Katherine Renee Kane) encouraged him to go undercover despite not having done it for a long time. Hakim had escaped and left the country, but a guilt-ridden Wallace had kept him on her radar and towards the end of the season believed him to back in the States. Oh you don’t either? Well, apparently, it’s National Streaming Day. And this isn’t just any National Streaming Day — it’s the 10th anniversary of the holiday, first declared by Roku in 2014. Break out the champagne — or at least have a few brewskis in Roku City.
More than just the screensaver’s majestic skyline has changed in the past decade. Occupying the penthouse of the largest skyscraper in all of streaming is Netflix, which currently has about 270 million global paid subscribers; 10 years ago the tally was 46 million subs, and the platform had just released “House of Cards” Season 2. Do you think Kevin Spacey’s life has changed at all since then?

The Commission on Presidential Debates was founded 35 years ago, and it has overseen the general election presidential and vice-presidental debates ever since—until this year.
Which makes The Daily Show‘s booking of the Cpd founder co-chair Frank Fahrenkopf tonight a bit of a “get,” coming hot on the heels of news last week that both President Biden and Former President Trump had agreed to face-off at two presidential debates that would be held outside the purview of his organization.
The Commission had previously announced plans to host a series of debates in September and October, which both campaigns criticised for being too late in the election cycle. Although the Cpd has said it’s still ready to execute on those plans, Stewart’s guest tonight seems be taking more of a scorched-earth approach to his reponse that Biden independently arranged debates with CNN and ABC—and that Trump had agreed to participate in them.

Dreamers awaken! The Sandman saga is back in production, preparing to bring new phantasmagorical episodes — conjured from Neil Gaiman’s iconic graphic novel, which debuted 35 years ago today — to the screen. And it’s finally time to find out who has been cast as Endless family members Destiny, Delirium, and The Prodigal.
“This week we officially restart production on the next sequence of stories of The Sandman for Netflix,”wrote Gaiman in a letter to fans in November 2023.“Genius showrunner Allan Heinberg and the countless people in front of and behind the camera are building something endlessly special, and bringing these stories to life in a way that would once have been unimaginable.”
When we last wandered into the dream world, the magnificently coiffed realm-lord Morpheus aka Dream (Tom Sturridge) and his cadre of companions faced down an impending onslaught of Lucifer’s (Gwendoline Christie) hell-spawned legions. Now, the Endless...

At the end of the penultimate episode, Monica made a deal with Oscar to get what she wants (information on the man who wants her dead) and agreed to help him escape from prison. “Monica and Oscar are often the smartest people in the room, which is the best thing in a villain. You want them to be scary because yes, they might be psychopaths, but at the same time they’re also super clever,” executive producer Alexi Hawley tells TV Insider. “I think that makes them really dangerous and they also, as actors really walk this great line of living in the villainy, but in a way that doesn’t feel broad or heightened. Yellowstone has officially started production on Season 5 Part 2. MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios announced on Monday, May 20 that production on the new episodes has begun in Montana and reconfirmed that the new season is slated to premiere this November on the Paramount Network. When Yellowstone returns, it will purportedly be for the series’ final episodes. Those episodes may be devoid of the Dutton family patriarch, Kevin Costner‘s John Dutton, as reports have been flying about his potential refusal to come back to film the final episodes. Whether John is written off in Yellowstone Season 5 Part 2 or not, though, the Dutton family remains committed to keeping their ranching legacy alive. The battle for the future of the ranch will be a civil war this time around, as the Season 5 Part 1 finale pitted John and Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) against Jamie Dutton (Wes Bentley). Simone Hicks plans to “dominate this season” when All American: Homecoming returns — but fresh footage from the upcoming episodes has us thinking the season might dominate her.
In the exclusive Season 3 trailer embedded above, Simone’s renewed determination on the tennis court quickly gives way to a potential injury (“Something’s off with my swing,” she worries aloud) and a seemingly formidable opponent from another university. Plus, Simone’s personal life seems similarly complicated: Although we briefly see her in bed with (presumably) one of her two suitors from last season’s cliffhanger, the conversation she’s having via voiceover — “I did what you asked.

OpenAI is pausing the use of a voice named Sky that is part of a new demo of Chat Gpt 40’s Voice Mode. The emotive voice has been called out for sounding a little too similar to Scarlett Johansson’s A.I. character from the 2013 Spike Jonze film Her.

Nicola Coughlan is nowhere near done with “Bridgerton,” but the star of Season 3 can’t help looking down the road. After making the seamless jump from wallflower to leading lady with Penelope’s story, she recognizes that her character will move to the periphery after Parts 1 and 2 premiere this summer.
“I was talking to Luke Newton about this the other day,” Coughlan told IndieWire the day before “Bridgerton” Season 3 – Part 1 premiered. “There’s something nice about kind of going back to the drawing board thing as an actor. You’re not going back to point zero, but it’s nice to go ‘Now I’ve got to work my ass off again to get a job.'”
Coughlan was conscious of the fact that a lot of actors reach a point where they no longer accept auditions, just offers, but she feels it’s too important to test the waters...

Jon Stewart may be considered late-night royalty today, but as he shares in a new behind the scenes clip from a recent Daily Show audience Q&a, his first foray into into late-night ended in ignominy
Fortunately, David Letterman was there to help put it all in perspective.
The question posed to Stewart seemed simple enough: What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given? The host, however, described it as “such an end-of-life question.” After taking a moment to think, and explaining that he never really had a mentor as “I was raised feral,” he recalled a memorable exchange with Letterman during what would ultimately be the final episode of The Jon Stewart Show.
In 1993, Stewart became one of MTV’s most recognizable faces when The Jon Stewart Show gained massive popularity—quickly. So quickly, in fact, that in just its second season, the 30-minute show was...

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for Bridgerton Season 3 Part 1.] Bridgerton‘s third season concluded Part 1 with a life-altering cliffhanger as Colin (Luke Newton) proposed marriage to his best friend, Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan), but how will her former bestie and Colin’s sister, Eloise (Claudia Jessie) react to their romance? As fans will recall, Eloise swore she never wanted to see Penelope again after uncovering her secret life as the Ton’s premier gossip columnist, Lady Whistledown in Season 2, but various events brought them together throughout the course of Season 3’s first half. And although Eloise wasn’t thrilled about learning her brother was helping her former bestie to find a husband, she didn’t make too big a fuss over it after Colin reassured her that there was nothing romantic between him and Penelope. Netflix Of course, Colin made this reassurance before he and Penelope shared their first kiss, sending him into a yearning spiral.
