In Hollywood, the portrayal of Native American stories has long been a subject of scrutiny when depicted through the lens of non-Native creators. Such is the case with filmmaker Taylor Sheridan, known for his work on projects like the Yellowstone prequels 1883 and 1923, as well as the 2017 film Wind River. As a white man, Sheridan has faced criticism for his handling of these narratives, accused of appropriating and misrepresenting Native American experiences.

Mo Brings Plenty, an actor who has worked closely with Sheridan on his projects, has stepped forward with a behind-the-scenes perspective that challenges prevailing criticisms. In this narrative, Brings Plenty sheds light on Sheridan’s approach to storytelling, presenting a counterpoint to the existing critiques.

Filmmaker Steven Spielberg has helmed many iconic films of the generation. He is the man behind films such as the Indiana Jones franchise, Jurassic Park, Saving Private Ryan, and Schindler’s List. The two-time Oscar nominee has also been vocal about his favorite films and has always considered himself to be a lover of cinema first.
The director has appreciated others’ cinema on multiple occasions. He called Tom Cruise the savior of cinema for his contributions to the theater industry during the pandemic. One film that Spielberg loved, but was still disturbed by, was reportedly Taylor Sheridan’s directorial debut Wind River, which he reportedly saw after its screening at the Cannes Film Festival.

[Warning: The following post contains Major spoilers about Mayor of Kingstown‘s Season 3 premiere episode, “Soldier’s Heart.”] Out with the old, and in with the new? That sure seems to be the mantra of Paramount+’s crime drama Mayor of Kingstown in its Season 3 premiere… at least where the bad guys are concerned. The episode officially resolves what’s become of Mariam McLusky (Dianne Wiest), as her sons bury her in a tearful ceremony. The death of Mariam will leave a void in the moral compass department for Mike, as Jeremy Renner told TV Insider, “He’s starting off this season with the loss of his mother, the anchor for him through a lot of it.” Plus, since her death came at the hands of his own brother (who accidentally shot her in a gunfire exchange with Milo’s men), Kyle (Taylor Handley), there’ll be some distance between them, too: “That’s one of those things...

The Taylor Sheridan-created Yellowstone is a milestone when it comes ti the Western genre. Starting Kevin Costner in the lead, the TV show is almost at its end, even though we are yet to get any updates on the second half of the fifth and final season of the show. But Yellowstone is not the only creation by Sheridan, who also has movies like Sicario and Wind River and the hit TV show, Mayor of Kingstown to his credit.

Taylor Sheridan’s extensive body of work, from Yellowstone to Special Ops: Lioness, and all other projects in between has brought out the best and the most brilliant of works from Hollywood-certified A-listers. Among them, Jeremy Renner stands out on top, not for the gritty realism of his series, Mayor of Kingstown but because of Renner’s miraculous journey from near death to full recovery.

Despite the threat of never being able to walk again, Renner defied every medical impediment to start filming exactly a year after his snowplow accident. The days spent on set since then may not have been easy but they are a testament to the superhuman strength and sheer force of will contained within the 2-times Oscar-nominated actor.

Over the years, Matt Damon has turned into one of the biggest names in Hollywood. He was the protagonist of his own film series, has been in many Oscar-winning projects, has been nominated for the award five times himself, and even won once. It is safe to say that he is one of the most talented, respected, and recognized actors in the film industry.

While Jeremy Renner continues to gain attention for his superhero work, his other work shows his acting chops. While Mayor of Kingstown suffered for being too dark and depressing in its first season, the show mellowed out considerably in the second season. Still, with enough plot threads to sort through and a changing cast, Season 3 required a light reset. While there were doubts the show would ever return, Season 3 proves its most compelling narrative yet.

The series of murder mysteries that began with the 2019 film Knives Out and continued with the 2022 film Glass Onion is set to keep on going with Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery, which has writer/director Rian Johnson back at the helm. Johnson and his collaborators are being very secretive about this project right now, but there’s a lot of hype for it – so we figured this would be a good time to start assembling a list of Everything We Know About Wake Up Dead Man. Here we go:
Title
Johnson got the title Knives Out from a Radiohead song. When it came time to make the sequel Glass Onion, he got the title from a song by The Beatles. So it’s only fitting that the third film in the franchise have a song-inspired title as well. But while Radiohead and The Beatles were from England,...

Say what you will about Warner Bros. Discovery’s business practices, but Max knows it has a very good thing in “Hacks.” The award-winning comedy, which is likely to be the only serious competition for FX’s “The Bear” at this year’s Emmys, has already been renewed for Season 4. The news couldn’t have come at a better time, as the explosive Season 3 finale, which is titled “Bulletproof” and is now streaming, sets Deborah (Jean Smart) and Ava (Hannah Einbinder) down a surprising new path as the former’s stint as the host of a late night show officially gets underway. But their relationship isn’t the only one changing as the season comes to an end — Jimmy (co-creator Paul W. Downs) and Kayla (scene-stealer Meg Stalter) embark on a new chapter, too. When the original Knives Out movie was released by Lionsgate in 2019, the whodunnit starring Daniel Craig as the southern P.E. Benoit Blanc, was either doomed to fail or become a smashing success. The latter happened, as the ensemble cast full of big names made Knives Out one of the best films of the year, ending up with numerous accolades and nominations, with many going so far as to claim that it had revived the whodunnit genre. The sequel, Glass Onion, was also well-received, but more because of its political and social messages than for the plot, which was more or less feeble and unworthy of the original. But, what is important is that Glass Onion also featured an ensemble cast, and it seems that the upcoming third movie, Wake Up Dead Man, will also follow in these footsteps.

Disney+ shows typically don’t get a second season, except for ‘Loki,’ which had a successful second season. Now it appears that another MCU show, ‘Hawkeye,’ will be getting a second season as well.
Keep in mind that there’s no official confirmation for the show yet, only rumors from industry insiders. MyTimeToShineHello has returned with more details about the show’s timeline and potential characters.
According to the leaker, the new season will also be set during Christmas, similar to the first season. Clint’s brother, Barney, will play a major role, and the season will draw inspiration from The Raid, with Kate and Clint trapped in a single location. Reportedly, the...

The iconic ‘Whodunnit’ franchise Knives Out’s ensemble cast is getting bigger and bigger with each passing movie. In the upcoming third installment, Daniel Craig will be reprising his role as Detective Benoit Blanc and will star alongside a slew of well-known Hollywood actors. According to Deadline, MCU star Jeremy Renner has also joined the cast.
Note that, as of now, it is unclear if Renner will be playing himself or a new character. However, some skeptics have raised concerns that the trend of casting MCU stars as villains in the franchise may have gone too far, potentially ruining the original charm of the series. How?

Update: As has become traditional for the new Knives Out entry, yet another cast member has been announced. Mila Kunis will also, according to Deadline, be among the ensemble.
With the writer/director preparing to shoot the new film – once again starring Daniel Craig as drawling detective Benoit Blanc – in the UK from June, he's been busy gathering the typically star-packed ensemble to power the latest mystery (described as "the most dangerous case" of Blanc's career to date).
Following his tragic, near-fatal snow plough accident in 2022, Jeremy Renner faced a tough road to recovery. But recover he has, with a new season of Mayor Of Kingstown already in the can (and debuting this week) and now a big new film role to add to his return. Renner is the latest name to join the cast list for Rian Johnson's Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery.

Jeremy Renner may have said goodbye to Mission: Impossible‘s world of espionage, but that doesn’t mean he would never return to the role of William Brandt.
The Hawkeye star entered the franchise in the 2011 installment, Ghost Protocol. At the end of 2015’s Rogue Nation, his character retired from his career in the Impossible Mission Force.
In an interview with Collider, Renner revealed there was one particular reason he left the franchise, despite reports at the time that he was being groomed to take over the lead role from Tom Cruise.
“I had to leave that,” the Mayor of Kingstown star told the publication. “I was supposed to do more with them. I love those guys. I love Tom so much. We had so much fun, and I love that character a lot. It requires a lot of time away. It’s all in London. I had to go be a dad.
