I am pro-life, and anti-gay rights.
Regarding abortion, I think that the women who have abortions are being selfish. Instead of thinking what's best for their child, they're thinking about only themselves, so they just slaughter their baby without giving it a second thought. In the very very rare occasion where it would endanger the life of the mother, then and only then would an abortion be needed. We have great technology, and even if that's the case, the mother's life is often not really in danger at all.
If it's the case of rape, and you're too young, give it up for adoption. There are thousands of young couples who can't have children of their own, who want to adopt. How can adoption be possible if we keep slaughtering these innocent beings via abortion?
As for so-called gay rights, I think that it is a choice that people make. I don't want to sound like I'm preaching, but remember (in the Old Tesament) Sadom and Gamorrah were destroyed because the people there were so wicked. One of the evils they were doing was homosexuality. Deny it if you want, but it's true.
I think the problem with most liberals and Democraps is that they are constantly angry, and that anger causes them to lose elections. They want to tax the rich, just because the rich have more money than they do.
Keep in mind that in 2004, and I do not know the exact numbers, but John Kerry and his snot-nosed wife, Teressa, "gave" money for their taxes, while the Bushes gave much more. And the Kerry's are actually richer than the president himself. This is a fact.
Of course, not all Democraps are bad people. One example in Zell Miller; another is Joe Lieberman. I hope both men are smart enough to one day become registered Republicans.
If Hillary Rhodam-Rhodam Clinton is nominated in 2008, I strongly recommend not voting for her, and I'm not against her because she's a woman, or even because she's a Democrap, but because she'S married to Slick Willy.
Nothing against her personally, but after her recent so-called Bible quote, she's attempting to turn into a moderate. If any of you who happen to know her, please pass on this message: GIVE IT UP, HILLARY!
On the subject of the Iraq war, keep in mind that we were attacked on 9/11/01. I do not believe for one minute that we would have gone to war if 9/11 hadn't happened. We're not like that. We're a country of freedom lovers, and we want to pass on that freedom. There's nothing wrong with giving freedom to other people. Unless, of course, the subject is illegal immigration. But I'll get to that later.
We have lost over 2,000 soldiers, yes, but when you think about it, it should be much more than that. We are blessed to have only lost 2000+ soldiers.
In 1945, in the battle of Iwo Jima, over 35,000 people died on one day, whereas we've lost just 2,000+ in three years.
As for illegal immigration, I have no
problem with Mexicans coming to live here, as long they do it legally. Coming here illegally, however, is another matter. They have no right to be here, and their claim that the U.S. Constitution gaive them "rights" is wayy off. They are not legal citizens, so the Constitution does not apply to them.
Now, let's get off the subject of politics for now. Let me tell you a bit about myself.

The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001)
Very well done
Although this is my least favorite of the LOTR trilogy, I still love it. The opening monologue was extremely well-done. It's interesting that when I first saw this movie, I had not heard anything previously concerning this story; I had no clue to what it was about. It was October of 2002. I watched the non-extended version at a family member's house. I didn't know what to think of it, and i hadn't heard of Elijah Wood, Viggo Mortenson, or even Orlando Bloom.
**Spoilers begin here***
But I really loved it. The music for the Weathertop battle was well done. I'm glad that the movie makers cut Tom Bombodil, though I didn't know he was part of the story until I read the book a year and a half later.
I won't go into major detail, but I must say that this was one big movie, and deserves to be watched. If you like any of the main character-actors, you'll love this movie.
10/10.
The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (2002)
Fantastic!
This is one of the best movies ever made. I find it necessary to put in spoilers, so if you have not seen this movie, I advise you to read no further.
***Spoilers! Spoilers! Spoilers! Spoilers! ***
Frodo (Elijah Wood) and Sam (Sean Astin) are making their way through Emyn Muil, a area with razor sharp rocks, and a place which is basically in the middle of nowhere. There is a humorous part with the elvish rope that Galadriel gave Sam in FotR. They had to use it to climb down what seemed to be a huge cliff, but really it was pretty short.
Meanwhile, Gollum has been following them, and soon they realize that they are not alone. Gollum eventually attempts to steal the Ring from Frodo, but fails to do so. He later "promises" to show Frodo and Sam where the Black Gate is.
Meanwhile, Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli are hot on the trail of the Uri-Kai, the Orcs that kidnapped Merry and Pippin. They soon meet Eomer, who is the nephew of King Theodon of Rohan. Theodon had been taken over by Saruman, it's a bit complicated, but Gandalf (who, as you know, fell in Moria and was believed to be dead) eventually goes to the trio, and they go to Rohan, to free the King from the power of Saruman.
Anyway, Eomer had been banished from Rohan by the order of the brainwashed Theoden, who wasn't in his right mind at the time. Gandalf shows up and frees the King from the clutches of Saruman. They know trouble is coming, so they decide to flee the city.
They go to Helm's Deep, which is a fortress and a place of protection for the people of Rohan. 10,000 Orcs are sent from Saruman to destroy the people at Helm's Deep. He had been told by Wormtongue (a former "servant" of Theoden's) that Theoden would go to Helm's Deep.
There followed a great battle T Helm's Deep, and for a while,m it looked like the Orc's would win. Then Gandalf show up with Eomer and many of his men.
Many things happen that I have not said, but I cannot and will not say everything that happens.
This is a well-made movie, and it is given a perfect 10/10 from me.
The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003)
The Best Finale of ANY trilogy ever made!!!!!
I don't know about anyone else, but I absolutely loved this film. I'd watch it every day if my parents let me. It is so amazing: the music, the acting, the battles, and everything else in between. I just don't know where to begin.
***Spoilers***
The movie opens with a flashback of Smeagol, and how he got the ring, and Deagol, his "friend" who he choked to death to get the ring. We see how Smeagol went mad, and turned very ugly. It is a sad way of showing his past, but it had to be done.
It takes about 10 or 11 minutes for the title, "The Return of the King" to come on, but that didn't seem to matter to me.
In the Extended version, which is over 4 hours long, we see a scene with Saruman that was cut from the theater version. This scene is so awesome, you'd have to buy it to see what happens.
As we progress through the movie, Pippen looks into the Palatir that Saruman had, and sees a glimpse of Sauran's plan. We see the battle at Osgiliath, and we see Faramir meet Pippin in Minas Turith. We see the villainy of Gollum, and how Gollum is poisoning Frodo against Sam.
If this movie has one weakness, it's when Frodo sends Sam home. In the book, they were always together, except when the Orcs took the unconscious Frodo into the tower in Mordor.
The final battle in Minas Turith is a great one. And it is well worth your time.
The music of Shelob's lair is the best ever, and it is somewhat scary if you listen to just the music from the soundtrack.
Frodo and Sam are soon reunited, and Mount Doom is very close.
I'll let you watch the rest, to find out what happens.
This is a very long movie, so if you have a lot of time to spare, watch this movie, and you won't be disappointed.
10/10. #2 best movie.
Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron (2002)
Worth of my Top 10!
I absolutely love this film. This is Dreamworks single movie that I actually enjoyed. It has great music, and a great score. Until I watched this movie, however, I did not like Bryan Adam's music at all. But after watching this movie, I purchased the soundtrack, and I listen to it every day (or as often as I can).
**Spoilers begin here. Do not read if you haven't seen this movie.**
Young Spirit is born at the beginning, and we see a hilarious young Spirit running around, and sticking his tongue on an icicle, and having too much fun, as it seems. We see Spirit grow up in about 5 seconds, and he becomes the leader of his herd.
He has an adventure with a mountain lion, or some kind of wild cat. He chases the cat away, and then later on, we don't know how much later, he sees a light far in the distance, and he goes to investigate. Little did he know that this decision would change his life forever. He is soon captured by the men that were at the campfire, and is taken far away to an unknown place. He has many adventures, but I can't go into detail. He meets a native boy, called Little Creek and also meets a mare named Rain, who he really likes a lot.
I'll say one more thing, though. The music for this movie, especially the score, is 100% phenomenal. I highly recommend this movie for all ages.
10/10.
It's a Wonderful Life (1946)
Superb! Excellent! The Best movie ever!!!!!!!!!!
Not liking this film is like not liking ice cream. The acting, the story, the directing, everything about this movie ROCKS! ***Spoilers*** George Bailey, at age 12, saves his brothers life. Several weeks later, he stops the town druggist from putting poison in some pills. We see that he accomplishes many things in his life, and he puts his dreams aside to help these people.
Even after he accomplishes many things, he begins to think his life is worthless. Especially after a horrific event one Christmas Eve, in which his uncle Billy loses $8,000. George seriously contemplates suicide, but his guardian angel, Clarence, comes to his rescue. He then learns, first-hand, what the world would be like if he hadn't been born. After he sees many changes that would have been if not for his birth, he gets his life back. He returns home, and then his friends and family come, along with money that they had collected from theirs friends in the town.
This is a great movie. Watch it on Christmas Eve. 10/10.
The Man from Snowy River (1982)
The music is what makes this movie good
I would not like this movie if it weren't for the piano music and the orchestra music in the beginning.
***Spoilers ahead*** The story is really well done. Jim Craig (Tom Burlinson) loses his father in an accident, and learns he will lose his home unless he "proves he's a man" He gets a job from Harrison, an old man with a daughter, Jessica. Spur is Harrison's brother. He has a missing leg, due to being shot by his brother. Kirk Douglas plays both roles as Harrison and Spur really well.
Jim meets a wild stallion, and with the help of Jessica, breaks the horse. I won't give away anything else.
This is one movie not to miss. The sequel, however, is another story.
My Score: 8/10.
Finding Nemo (2003)
Pixar's best movie.
I didn't see this movie until it came out on DVD. My family and I don't go to the movies very often, mostly because there's hardly anything worth seeing.
But this movie was absolutely flawless. The voice cast was super. The voice of Nemo is Alexander Gould, who is 11 years old now. I saw his picture, and I really like his smile.
"Finding Nemo" is a classic. It'a among my favorite movies, and is a movie everyone should see. Unlike about 96% of movies, this movie is Rated "G", and can be viewed by children. There might be a few moments when it gets "scary," but they soon turn into comedy.
Watch "Finding Nemo" and I think you'll be a happier person by the end of the movie!
My Score: 10/10.
