Amazon, we demand a Season 2!

Such an enjoyable psychological thriller! Great pace, plenty of mystery, suspense, and twists & turns - without overkill. The acting of Rabe, Brenneman, and Linklater were superb. An excellent trio of individuals with their own mysterious pasts. There is so much that can be done in a second season, and so many ways it can be approached - given a great team of creative writers. Either start production or pass this wonderful hidden gem off to another network so they can continue the storytelling. It's hard for me to recommend to anyone without knowing if there's more to come.

Please give us fans a Season 2. Don't forget Lily Babe (Rabe).

The Sinner (2017–2021)

9 stars, 8 stars, and 2 stars :/

Season one - Just wow! Everything about it was amazing. Truly suspenseful and not predictable. Easy to feel empathy for each and every character and their well-being.

Season two - Definitely a different pace from season one. However, they nailed the anthology aspect of the series. You simply cannot compare storylines with this style of writing. Yet again, another great mystery that keeps you guessing.

Season three - What the bleep?! I kept watching and watching and waiting for the big plot twist to show itself. But nope. It never came. So many unexplained plot holes. Truly a waste of time. I'd much rather spent my time watching reruns. The only reason I gave it two stars is because of Ambrose.

Season four - Please don't disappoint your viewers again!

Work in progress, still enjoyable

A five star rating may seem low, but seems fitting compared to some of the Starz' greats. The plot and setting of this series are a nice change to the norm of new tv series. I enjoyed the acting and storyline while the characters are actually... in character/dialogue. While I can appreciate a poetic and cultural dance theme, it definitely seems forced and out of place for this particular series. Stick to the main plot, add some more drama and conflict, and this show may have more promise.
