Black Adam (2022)
Every part of me wanted to like this film
It just didn't happen. From terrible CGI, bad acting, to cheap writing there is very little to be desired for an otherwise interesting character. It's time to start thinking of taking a break from Dwight Johnson on the big screen. If that was actually the best they could have done then a lot of those people associated with this project shouldn't work in Hollywood.
Then Rock takes to twitter to try and flex how well the movie has done compared to other marvel films. Then gets told He and Cavill are both out of future DC plans. Love it. Long life Gunniverse! In James Gunn does the DC universe trust.
Selena: The Series (2020)
Excellent in depth look at the Q family
If you're wanting this to be like jlo's 97' version then you're going in with the wrong expectations. This is more about the entire family and band than just Selena. Don't get me wrong, I love the 97' Selena, but it doesn't tell enough of the "behind the scenes" story.
All you people that are saying she is "white," you're dumb because she is Italian and Mexican. "Too skinny", "doesn't look like Selena", it seems like you want Selena to play Selena. That's just silly.
I think it needed to be a series because so much happened in the 15 years they spent in the band together. I don't think it's a cash grab, I think the family wants everyone to remember who Selena was. This series will help younger fans connect with a cultural icon who's life was tragically and abruptly cut short. I personally cannot wait for part 2.
Grey's Anatomy: Song Beneath the Song (2011)
No....just no.
Hem... can...tua...
Why? Just why? You got to cute trying new things. Stick to the formula.
The Green Room (2016)
Went into this with an open mind
I've seen better acting and direction from a children's acting boot camp. I feel like I have become dumber by viewing this "art."
Coffee & Kareem (2020)
straight to dvd if not for Netflix
Kareem was funny a handful of times in the movie. Coffee was less than stellar. Taraji and the henchmen were the best things about the movie. I laughed more at their interactions than the two leads. Everything is racist now a days so I won't elaborate on that aspect. I wasn't offended by any part. It just wasn't good. I really thought Kareem was a girl for a bit. I thought it was an odd name for a girl.
1917 (2019)
Best picture worthy
Midway fails miserably in comparison to this film. Every part of this movie is detail oriented and meticulously put together. Sam made another great piece of art.
Uncut Gems (2019)
Better than anything he's done since 2007
Kevin Garnett was actually really good. It was sometimes aggravating by the incoherent dialogue. It was a solid movie for Sandler. It was better than anything he has done since Chuck and Larry. 13 years and 16 films later, we finally get a movie above average and the best thing I can say is about an NBA player. Vomit.....
Ugly Delicious (2018)
Form your own opinion. It might not be for you
They swear, they are opinionated, they are skilled chefs. I love it. The realism they convey at all times is quite refreshing. It's informative, it's captivating, it's funny, and it's slightly political. Just like some food, the show is not for everyone. If you're off put by a man the throws F-bombs then GTFOH. Love it.
Gemini Man (2019)
Will Smith? More like Will Sandler
This is by far the worst Will Smith movie he has ever made. This film makes Wild Wild West look Oscar worthy. The CGI of JR's face is awful. It looks like they finished and said "meh, that's good enough." Settling for subpar standards should never be attached to a Will Smith project. I do not recommend this film to anyone unless you want to see how not to make a film.
X-Men: Dark Phoenix (2019)
Unfounded hatred won't last
The movie is great. I don't understand why so many people are giving low reviews. Get over yourselves and be honest. Your bs agenda will be revealed soon enough.
Bumblebee (2018)
Terrible movie. Don't waste your time

Avatar (2009)
Smart, layered, intelligent movie.
How anyone could hate on this movie is just ridiculous. Revolutionary cinema experience! The people of the Earth have spoken and the results are Avatar is amazing.
