Storyline
Did you know
- TriviaThere is speculation that Daryl (Norman Reedus) was communicating with Rick (Andrew Lincoln) via Morse code. Daryl was blinking extremely fast and Rick was tapping his fingers on Negan's (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) bat. An earlier scene showed a Morse code poster.
- GoofsAfter Michonne wakes before the intro credits, the "American Morse Code" sign on the wall has an 'N' improperly labeled. 'N' Should be dash-dot, instead it is depicted as dot-dash, which is the letter 'A'

Look, I assume it would change anyway, so don't blame me for taking this score down to 9.9. I admit to being a little disappointed that Michonne wasn't featured much. I sincerely thought this was going to be an episode focusing on her, as she was featured prominently at first. Still, this is great as ever as we get to see a lot of tension between Rick and Negan. Well, Negan and everyone else really. Obviously, the show toned down his language, but he still has some pretty bad words. It was interesting to see how slick he was dealing with everybody.
We really get the sense that Rick's forces are being weakened. A few zombies appear, but they barely cause any conflict at all. That's probably what makes this series so great. It takes a zombie apocalypse and shows how it brings out the best and worst in everybody. I did feel pretty bad with how he took their mattresses. For something that was over an hour long, this didn't have that much action. It still created great tension, though. ***1/2
