A blast from the past, not quite a blast.

Warning: Spoilers
M.C. Gainey guest stars as T. Tommy Reed, Anthony's former prison cellmate whom he fears more than anyone else, only to find out what a gentleman T. Tommy has become now that his unfortunate incarceration in prison. Having studied good manners and fine cuisine in prison, Reed wants to open a gift shop and make Anthony his partner. Not as unpleasant a part of the episode as I thought it would be, this gives Meshach Taylor the opportunity to show off his amazing ability to do accents very funny. Gainey is also amusing as well.

The other part of the episode surrounds Mary Jo's kids meeting with J.D.'s kids for a family outing, and each of them go out of their way to try to be more obnoxious than the other. It's not funny, just annoying, and a lot of it doesn't even seem realistic, just forced. While it does what it needs to do in regards to advancing Mary Jo and J.D.'s story, it's a difficult plot device to keep the audience interested. Neither plot does the episode any good or stand out other than for Anthony to gain some courage since he already has enough brains and heart.
