Bryton James got his acting start as a toddler, appearing in his first commercial at age 2 before landing the role of Richie Crawford on the sitcom Family Matters. After a detour as a recording artist, James was cast as Devon Hamilton on CBS’ The Young and the Restless in 2004 and on June 1, he is marking 20 years in the role. Here, he looks back on his Genoa City journey. You were 17 when you joined the cast of Y&R as Devon. Could you ever have imagined that 20 years later, you would be doing an interview about your anniversary? Bryton James: No, not at all. I’ll never forget the day of my audition. I had an interview for a national Coca-Cola commercial and then an interview for a soap opera and my mom watched General Hospital my whole life growing up. All I knew of soap operas were they were these...

Drake has always been a magnet for attention. His strange journey has taken him from teen fame on Degrassi to blockbuster rap stardom. In 2024, his beef with Kendrick Lamar has blown up into one of the all-time biggest hip-hop beefs. They went from zero to 100 real quick, sending deadly insults and accusations back and forth. Yet he’s also the Drake the pop icon, the certified loverboy who sings emo ballads like the 2015 classic “Hotline Bling.”

Jerry Seinfeld is still haunted by his TV mother's words -- "How could anyone not like him?"
No wonder Seinfeld has been all over social media in recent months.
He forgoes his usual stoicism and criticizes everything in sight, from critics of his movie "Unfrosted" to Howard Stern, college campuses, and even the cast of Friends.
In a recent interview, Lisa Kudrow stated that Seinfeld tried to take credit for Friends' success and implied that if not for Seinfeld laying the groundwork for a quirky New York group of misfits, the show would never have made it.
To this day, many Seinfeld fans think Friends was a rip-off of Seinfeld that just happened to inherit a cushy Must-See TV time slot.
However, Friends fans, and even some Seinfeld fans, quickly point out that Friends' humor is nothing like Seinfeld's outlook.

Like many other folks approaching 70, Tom Hanks found himself out of the loop when the beef between Kendrick Lamar and Drake dominated headlines during the first week of May. So, he reached out to his son and hip-hop enthusiast, Chet Hanks, for an explanation and got a far longer response than he expected — so much so that he apparently didn’t bother reading the reply.
Chet posted the exchange in his Instagram Stories today (May 20th), which began with his father saying, “Big Main, can you explain the Drake/Kendrick Lamar feud to me?”
In response, Chet broke down how Drake and J. Cole had long claimed they were among the “Big 3” of hip-hop alongside Kendrick Lamar, which prompted Kendrick to come after them on Future and Metro Boomin’s “Like That.”
He continued by referring to Drake’s short jokes on “Push Ups” before moving on to the meat of the beef on “euphoria,...

Alfonso Ribeiro is a star because of his role in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. He played Carlton, the yuppie who made a cringeworthy dance trend famous. However, while he knows he owes everything to Carlton, Ribeiro also said the role ruined his acting career.
here is what Alfonso Ribeiro said about his mixed feelings about playing Carlton on Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
Alfonso Ribeiro Says Carlton Was The Worst Thing That Happened To Him
Alfonso Ribeiro starred as Carlton Banks on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air for its entire run. That was six seasons and 148 episodes. The show made Will Smith a star and helped catapult him into a hugely successful movie career. However, for Alfonso, his career went in the other direction thanks to that popular sitcom role.
In an interview with Closer Weekly, Ribeiro said his role as Carlton was the greatest thing that ever happened to him.

Kendrick Lamar’s Drake diss, “Not Like Us,” has brought him back to the top of the Billboard Hot 100, debuting on the chart at No. 1.
The scathing track is one of four songs from the beef appearing in the Top 10 of the Hot 100 this week. Meanwhile, Drake’s “Family Matters” debuts at No. 7.
“Not Like Us” marks Kendrick’s fourth No. 1 on the Hot 100 after his Taylor Swift collaboration “Bad Blood,” 2017’s “Humble.,” and the aforementioned “Like That.”

Tee Grizzley and Future have teamed up to drop new track “Swear To God” on Friday.
The hard-hitting single opens with the lyrics: “Fuck your album, shit ain’t slapping like my mixtape.” When the rapper tweeted a coded announcement of the track on Thursday, he did so by tweeting the vicious opening line on X, which many speculated as a covert shot at Gunna, whose album One of Wun had already been announced as releasing today as well. Two of Gunna’s subsequent posts were assumed to be responses.

In the war of words between Kendrick Lamar and Drake, creators are the true winners. Commentators and streamers who have reacted to the feud have raked in revenue thanks to the rappers’ decision to release copyright claims on their respective diss tracks.
What began as a clash between rap heavyweights Lamar, Drake, and J. Cole has evolved into an intense beef co-starring the favorite sons of Compton and Toronto. Lamar and Drake have exchanged several rounds of highly personal diss tracks, all of which have racked up millions of plays on platforms like YouTube and Spotify. Lamar’s “Euphoria” has become a particularly big hit, collecting more than nine million Spotify streams in a single day.

Questlove has called out Kendrick Lamar and Drake for stooping down to “mudslinging” in their ongoing beef.
In an Instagram post with the caption, “Here We Are Now… Entertain us,” the Roots drummer slammed the rappers for digging up each other’s dirtiest secrets and making salacious allegations that dragged family members into their feud.
“Nobody won the war,” Questlove wrote. “This wasn’t about skill. This was a wrestling match level mudslinging and takedown by any means necessary — women & children (& actual facts) be damned.”
He continued by criticizing rap fans for feeding into the beef: “Same audience wanting blood will soon put up ‘rip’ posts like they weren’t part of the problem. Hip Hop is truly dead.”

Since last week, Kendrick Lamar has released four diss tracks aimed at Drake, the ultimate target of his pure disdain. Drake managed to get some shots in, too, with two pointed responses released in the past few days. The Canadian rapper has, at least for now, gotten the last word in the feud that Kendrick emerged victorious from — but their beef is no longer their own as external figures pick sides.
On Tuesday, it was discovered that a graffiti artist tagged the storefront window of Drake’s October’s Very Own store location in London.

When Drake and Kendrick Lamar decided to go at each other, we knew that there was a chance for low blows; we just didn’t know we’d end up subterranean. The four tracks they exchanged on May 3 and 4 — Kendrick’s “Meet the Grahams” and “Not Like Us,” as well as Drake’s “Family Matters” and “The Heart Pt. 6” — have taken their rift into a dark place. Drake is calling Kendrick a domestic abuser, and Kendrick is calling Drake a pedophile. Now, we’re wondering how a war that was...

We know Kendrick Lamar and Drake will throw more shots, levy more seedy allegations, and might even drop more all-out diss songs from here. But the bulk of the war has been fought, and the crown goes to Compton. In hindsight, the way Drake poked the bear with Instagram Stories provocations and his “Taylor Made” freestyle seems masochistic. Over the past week, Lamar hit Drake with a relentless volley of diss songs that comprehensively dismantled his opponent’s character and, with “Not Like Us,” may make him the punchline of the summer.

What is the world of rap without feuds? Well, the music world is on fire as of late, as Drake and Kendrick Lamar have spent the better part of the last month and a half throwing diss tracks at one another in a constant stream. That’s right, we now have a Pulitzer Prize winner in a rap war…Damn.
Drake and Kendrick Lamar have been going at it for over a decade at this point. Drake has returned fire at Kendrick Lamar with the Sunday night drop of a new diss track called “The Heart Part 6.” The song’s title is a reference to Lamar’s own single series of the same name.
The track mostly finds Drake on the defensive, as he disputes allegations made by Lamar that he has a secret daughter, is on Ozempic, and has sexual relations with underage girls. As Drake tells it, he intentionally fed Lamar’s camp false information and they fell for it.
“We plotted for a week and then we fed you the information/ A daughter that’s 11 years old, I bet he takes it/ We thought about giving a fake name or a destination/ But you so thirsty, you not concerned with investigation,” Drake raps.
Drake also claims, without evidence, that Lamar was molested as a child: “This when your father leave you home alone...

Kendrick Lamar has been busy putting up an attack plan against Drake, and he just dropped another diss track titled Not Like Us. Kendrick Lamar isn’t interested in a ceasefire. The Compton rapper has dropped his third Drake diss track of the last 36 hours. The latest one is called “Not Like Us,” and finds Lamar hammer Drake over his alleged preference for younger women.
“Say Drake, I hear you like ’em young/ You better not ever go to cell block one/ To any bitch that talk to him and layin’ love/ Just make sure you hide your little sister from ’em,” Lamar raps.
Lamar later doubles down, rapping: “Certified lover boy, certified pedophile… Why he trollin’ like a bitch? Ain’t you tired?/ Tryna strike a cord and it’s probably A-Minor.”
“Not Like Us” marks the fourth diss track Lamar has released amid his ongoing feud with Drake. He previously dropped “euphoria,” “6:16 in LA,” and “Meet the Grahams,” the latter of which saw Lamar accuse Drake of having a secret daughter.

The Drake-Kendrick Lamar feud has escalated this year as the two rappers went back and forth replying and one-upping each other’s diss tracks. Things have never been the same since the duo collaborated on Drake’s 2011 album Take Care, and ever since Lamar threw shade at Drake in Big Sean’s Control, the two have been feuding over the years.

Things intensified this year as both have now committed to destroying each other’s reputations and careers with the release of their diss tracks simultaneously. With Lamar’s Euphoria and 6:16 in LA going on a full rant mode on Drake’s activities and career, the Toronto rapper has hit back with a more personal attack in his new diss track, questioning the parentage of Lamar’s children.

Are Kendrick Lamar and Drake just going to keep dissing each other for the rest of their lives? Probably, yes. So here we go with another beef that began after the Canadian rapper dropped a seven-and-a-half-minute track Family Matters, in response to Lamar’s 6:16 in LA, which led the latter to have his last laugh with a new song Meet the Grahams.

After Drake fired shots at Kendrick Lamar with Family Matters, where he accused the rapper of fathering a child that isn’t biologically his, Lamar released Meet the Grahams. In his new track, Lamar alleged Drake was hiding a daughter that the world does not know about. Following K.Dot’s latest diss track, the God’s Plan singer broke his silence over the Crompton rapper’s allegations.

Drake and Kendrick Lamar are two of the most popular and commended rappers in the music industry, and yet, they are also two of the most controversial ones. Thanks to their long-ongoing feud and rocky relationship that just doesn’t seem to want to repair at any cost, the two have been under the spotlight every now and then through their diss tracks for each other.

However, with his most recent track, the Canadian rapper cum singer seems to have taken a bit too nasty dig at Lamar. This is because, in his recently released Family Matters, the 37 year-old singer seemingly implied that his rival and 36 year-old American rapper cum songwriter’s fiancée Whitney Alford allegedly had an affair with Lamar’s manager and creative partner, Dave Free.

Drake and Kendrick Lamar have been embroiled in a bitter rivalry in the music industry for many years, during which both musicians have been critical of each other. The latter, 36, recently released a new track called Euphoria, in which he once again targeted Drake. Three days after releasing this diss track, he intensified his feud with Drake on Friday morning by releasing a second one, 6:16 in LA.
This is the latest in their long-running beef, which has gotten bigger and more intense over the past few weeks, involving other rappers.

Not one to back down, Drake is said to quickly hit back with a diss track of his own. However, that is not all—he recently shared a scene from Antoine Fuqua’s The Equalizer 2 on his social media, showcasing his lyrical skills and channeling his inner Denzel Washington in the process.

It’s probably a good thing Drake is taking a vacation.
No less than 30 minutes after Drake dropped his latest Kendrick Lamar diss track, “Family Matters,” the Pulitzer Prize-winning rapper has returned the fire with “Meet the Grahams.”
“Dear Adonis, I’m sorry that that man is your father, let me be honest,” Lamar raps to begin the track, setting the stage for a deeply personal and vicious six-minute offering. Lamar proceeds to calls Drake a “master manipulator,” “with kinks of a nympho fetish,” who is hiding a secret daughter.
“And we gotta raise our daughters knowin’ there’s predators like him lurkin’/ Fuck a rap battle, he should die so all of these women can live with a purpose,” Lamar raps.
Lamar then addresses Drake’s alleged daughter directly: “Dear baby girl, I’m sorry that your father not active inside your world/ He don’t commit to much but his music,...

And round and round we go. Drake has fired back at Kendrick Lamar with a new diss track called “Family Matters.”
Over the course of the seven-minute track, Drake makes several unsubstantiated claims about Lamar, including that he physically assaulted his longtime partner, Whitney Alford. Drake also suggests that one of Lamar’s children was actually fathered by longtime producer Dave Free, and that Lamar encouraged Tupac’s estate to file a cease and desist against Drake over the diss track “Taylor Made Freestyle.”
“Family Matters” also sees Drake go after some of his other hip-hop foes, including Rick Ross, The Weeknd, A$AP Rocky, Future, and Metro Boomin.
For those keeping score, “Family Matters” marks Drake’s third diss track aimed at Lamar, following “Taylor Made Freestyle” and “Push Ups (Drop & Give Me 50).” Meanwhile, Lamar has dropped two diss tracks of his own: “euphoria” and “6:16 in LA.”

Television shows seem well-organized and choreographed. Yet, not everything about them always goes according to plan.
For example, an incidental character sometimes steals a scene and creates memorable television history.
Then, there are the characters who take things a step further by stealing scenes repeatedly until they become the stars themselves.
Particular characters, such as Dr. Gregory House on House, are often created to be standouts. Yet, occasionally, those main protagonists are entirely overshadowed.
In rare instances, characters who were supposed to be incidental became regulars and took over entire shows.
The Fonz on Happy Days (1974-1984)
Happy Days underwent several changes, including the recasting and eventual disappearance of Chuck Cunningham's character, but Arthur (The Fonz) Fonzarelli's addition most dramatically altered the show's trajectory.
Initially, Happy Days focused on the Cunningham family, especially teenager Richie (Ron Howard). The Fonz (Henry Winkler) was a side character. However, the motorcycle-riding, leather jacket-wearing greaser soon took over.

It’s been quite a month for Porsha Williams.
First, she announced her return to The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
Then, news broke earlier this week that she had filed for divorce from her husband, Simon Guobadia.
The latter announcement came out of nowhere, mainly because it seemed viewers would see a very different side to her with Guobadia on the Bravo reality series.
With the pair professing their love to each other across social media over the last year, it seemed the only way was up for them.
Sadly, relationships crash down when we least expect it, and in this case, it sounds like Williams is done with Guobadia since she was the one to file for divorce.
Fans have questions about the divorce
In the aftermath of the announcement, fans showered Williams with support on social media, leading to a response early Sunday morning from the Porsha’s Family Matters alum.

You’d be excused if you didn’t notice that Netflix recently added the forgotten sitcom My Wife and Kids to its servers. With the labor stoppages over and TV back up and running once again, streaming services are pushing full steam ahead to get regularly scheduled programming back on the market. It doesn’t seem like there would be any room for a show more known for its Nick at Nite run than its original broadcast on ABC, but anyone who ignores the Damon Wayans-centered sitcom is missing out on one of the funniest, most chaotic comedies of the 2000s.
At first glance, My Wife and Kids looks like your typical comedian vehicle from around this time period. So many stand-up comics got their own network sitcom that the genre turned into TV junk food during the late 20th century. Everybody Loves Raymond, Home Improvement, The King of Queens,...

With Kandi Burruss out of there, the cast of The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 16 is starting to take shape.
After months of uncertainty surrounding whether the series would pull a Real Housewives of New York and fire its entire cast, details about who will be back are starting to spill out.
Talk arose this week that Kenya Moore and Porsha Williams will be part of The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Season 16 cast.
Bravo famously doesn’t respond to casting rumors, but something tells us that they will give updates when contracts are signed.
It’s been months since the previous season aired, so there will be concern from network execs that people think the series is over.
There have also been countless rumors that the show will be rebooted after the lackluster Rhoa Season 15.

In the 1995 movie "Waterworld," Kevin Costner was the draw in more ways than one. To much of the audience, he was still the glamorous movie star who had managed to pull off a blockbuster "Robin Hood" movie despite his inability to successfully nail an English accent. To others, he seemed like he might be a potential trainwreck on the verge of derailment. "Waterworld" had fallen victim to many behind-the-scenes tales of sinking sets, director fights, and Costner rewriting the script to make himself look better. Ultimately, for one reason or another, enough people were curious about the film that it turned a profit. However difficult he may have been behind the scenes, the star turned out to still have it.
Within the movie, however, the person everyone wants to see is Enola, a nine year-old girl whose back tattoo features an encoded map to the last bit of dry land on a post-climate change world.

Jaleel White has been named as host of The Flip Side, a brand-new syndicated game show from CBS that is scheduled to debut this fall. In the show, two teams of players attempt to determine the sentiments of two distinct groups regarding the same issue. Teams make their selections from multiple-choice answers, and the correct choice secures the pot. “I have had fun being a celebrity contestant on numerous game shows, but I’ve always really wanted to be the host, giving people money and making their day,” White said in a statement. “When I first heard this concept, I immediately wanted to be the ringleader of this entertaining, funny game show where the only requirement is being in tune with human nature.” Besides his dual role in Family Matters as Steve Urkel and Stefan Urquelle, White’s recent projects encompass Netflix‘s Hustle, CBS’ Me, Myself and I, and Apple TV+‘s The Afterparty.
