- Burroughs: The Movie explores the life and times of controversial Naked Lunch author William S. Burroughs, with an intimacy never before seen and never repeated. The film charts the development of Burroughs' unique literary style and his wildly unconventional life, including his travels from the American Midwest to North Africa and several personal tragedies. Burroughs: The Movie is the first and only feature length documentary to be made with and about Burroughs. The film was directed by the late Howard Brookner. It was begun in 1978 as Brookner's senior thesis at NYU film school and then expanded into a feature which was completed 5 years later in 1983. Sound was recorded by Jim Jarmusch and the film was shot by Tom DiCillo, fellow NYU classmates and both very close friends of Brookner's.
- An intertwining tale of past and present this Award Winning Sundance documentary rediscovers NYC filmmaker Howard Brookner and his body of work, unveiled by his nephew, after being buried in William S. Burroughs bunker for over 30 years.
- YUMA, SONIC RIVER is a feature documentary about the origins of Cumbia music, set alongside the banks of Colombia's main river, The Magdalena, guided by co-director Simon Mejía (a founding member of the worldwide known Latin-electro band Bomba Estereo). Looking for musicians who have preserved traditional cumbia songs on the river's bank, Simon finds himself navigating the Magdalena through an urgent environmental emergency: what was once one of the country's wildest river is now barely navigable. The film has a unique perspective combining musical discovery with environmental awareness. At the end, all musicians will create a memorable concert in Mompox, a picturesque village, where the music that keeps the Magdalena alive is celebrated.
- MOUNTAIN SPIRIT follows Kuei-Chih Lee, a Taiwanese Environmental artist, as he creates his latest work on Maokong Mountain overlooking the city of Taipei. Supported by fellow artists, including his wife, artist Lua Rivera, Kuei-Chih bridges the gap between human and nature through art. His environmental sculptures present a path from the material world to the invisible, offering a meditative experience that reconnects people with the natural environment. The film is an invitation to explore the works of Kuei-Chih Lee, his thinking and his process, and an inspiration to reflect on the link between sky, earth, and people.
