Deadline is reporting that the complaint, filed in Los Angeles Supreme Court by a woman identified only as Jane Doe, has been ended by the plaintiff.
“My family and I have known Tiffany Haddish for many years — and we now know that she would never harm me or my brother or help anyone else do anything that could harm us,” Doe said in a statement Tuesday. “We wish Tiffany the best and are glad that we can all put this behind us.”

Tiffany Haddish will not be facing a lawsuit alleging child sexual abuse and other such horrible accusations after all.
Less than a month after Jane Doe first filed a multi-claim complaint in Los Angeles Superior Court, the plaintiff has ended her own action. “My family and I have known Tiffany Haddish for many years – and we now know that she would never harm me or my brother or help anyone else do anything that could harm us,” Doe in a statement Tuesday. “We wish Tiffany the best and are glad that we can all put this behind us.”
Along with the public stepping back today, the plaintiffs also put a dismissal with prejudice notice in federal court. That means that for all purposes the matter against The Afterparty star and comedian and co-defendant Aries Spears has concluded.

Actress Tiffany Haddish has spoken out in response to the child sexual abuse lawsuit that was filed against her and comedian Aries Spears.
“I know people have a bunch of questions. I get it. I’m right there with you,” Haddish wrote on Instagram.
“Unfortunately because there is an ongoing legal case, there’s very little that I can say right now. But, clearly, while this sketch was intended to be comedic, it wasn’t funny at all, and I deeply regret having agreed to act in it. I really look forward to being able to share a lot more about this situation as soon as I can.”
Filed last week by an anonymous woman, the lawsuit alleges that Haddish and Spears exploited Jane Doe, now 22, and her brother John Doe, now 14, in two comedy sketches filmed when they were children.

Comedians Tiffany Haddish and Aries Spears have been accused of child sexual abuse in a lawsuit filed in Los Angeles on Tuesday, August 30, which claims the pair coerced minors into filming explicit skits. Haddish’s attorney Andrew Brettler has denied the claims, referring to the accusations as a “shakedown.” In a statement (via People), Brettler said that the plaintiff’s mother, Trizah Morris, “has been trying to assert these bogus claims against Ms. Haddish for several years. Every attorney who has initially taken on her case — and there were several — ultimately dropped the matter once it became clear that the claims were meritless and Ms. Haddish would not be shaken down.” In the suit, a 22-year-old woman identified as “Jane Doe” claims that when she was 14, Haddish took her to the taping of a “sexually suggestive Subway commercial,” stating it would help with Jane Doe’s television career. The claim...

Tiffany Haddish and Aries Spears are named defendants in a lawsuit brought forward by an anonymous female plaintiff Jane Doe who claims the comedians groomed her and her brother, an anonymous male plaintiff John Doe, to perform sexual acts when they were children, but Haddish’s attorney vehemently denies the allegations.
According to The Daily Beast, which first broke the news and obtained the legal documents, the female plaintiff, 22, says she and the male plaintiff, 15, were both 14 and 7, respectively, at the time of the alleged sexual abuse. The female plaintiff claims Haddish recruited her after she attended a comedy camp where the comedian was a guest speaker.
According to the lawsuit, the female plaintiff claims “Haddish verbally explained what was expected of Plaintiff Jane Doe and then showed Plaintiff Jane Doe how to give fellatio, including movements, noises, moaning, and groaning.” The lawsuit further claims that Spears looked on while she was “physically,...
