Andrew Avitabile took a special interest in sound from a very young age. He began piano lessons at the age of three and started performing in front of audiences at age five. He later studied both saxophone and percussion as a member of several jazz and symphonic ensembles where he had the opportunity to perform at Carnegie Hall. Andrew, a graduate of SUNY Buffalo, began his audio career working for Cliff Schwarz Music and went on to compose and produce audio for clients including Sony Columbia Pictures, HBO, ABC, USA, NBC, VH1, MTV, Showtime, Syfy Channel and Tribal DDB Needham. Throughout his mixing career, Andrew has had the opportunity to work at New York's top post-production facilities including Sound Hound, Citylights Media, Bionic Media, Broadway Video, Showtime's Redpost, and NBC Universal's Newport Facility. As a senior audio producer in Jacksonville, FL, Andrew has worked on projects for Florida Blue, OnIdeas, St. John & Partners, Wounded Warrior Project, Interpret Films, The Florida Lottery, The Webby Awards and many of the city's top production companies, while maintaining long-standing relationships with his existing national and international clients. Andrew has also been busy mixing feature films and documentaries for filmmakers across the country.
