“I felt good about the first night. I was singing Kelly Clarkson. I’m singing her song in close to her key and it was ‘Wizard of Oz Night’ and I didn’t necessarily pick that song,” reveals Scott Porter while reflecting on his time as Gumball on “The Masked Singer.” “During dress rehearsal that night, I thought I had it all together and I had a panic attack.” Watch our full video interview above.
Despite a rocky start that landed him in a smackdown, Scott was able to survive all the way to the Season 11 finale, where he finished runner-up to Vanessa Hudgens as Goldfish. Although Vanessa had no clue she was competing with her “Bandslam” co-star, Scott recognized her voice instantly.

After singing their hearts out for panelists Robin Thicke, Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg, Ken Jeong and Rita Ora, Goldfish and Gumball stood by side as host Nick Cannon announced Goldfish was the winner. Before Goldfish revealed herself, the Gumball had to take it off and turned out to be award-winning actor Scott Porter.
When Nick asked Scott, “Who knew you could do what you do?” the actor replied, “Not even me until maybe tonight. I don’t have any legitimate training. I started singing on street corners in Orlando, Florida when I was going to high school. I auditioned for two straight years for Disney and couldn’t book a role. Spoiler Alert: Details follow for Season 11, Episode 13 of “The Masked Singer,” “Finale: One Mask Takes It All,” which aired May 22 on Fox.
“The Masked Singer” winner Vanessa Hudgens admits she didn’t necessarily play the hiding game: At least among her friends and fans, they figured out it was her under the Goldfish costume rather quickly.
“Rita [Ora] guessed it was me straight from the jump,” Hudgens said. “But she’s also my friend. And we saw each other a few days before the first episode!”
Hudgens beat out Scott Porter, who had performed this season as Gumball, to win the “Masked Singer” trophy. Coincidentally, both Hudgens and Porter previously starred together in 2009’s “Bandslam.”
Despite their history, Hudgens said the production kept her completely in the dark as to who her competitors were. “I was so invested every step of the way,” she said. “I was trying really hard to...

“The Masked Singer” season 11 is packed full of talent. One of the best singers of the bunch made her debut on the March 13 episode of this hit reality competition series disguised as Miss Cleocatra. Her crystal clear sound was sustained throughout as she hit one high note after another in her searing cover of the Lena Horne classic “Stormy Weather.”

We’ve been rewatching that first performance plus her clues package and have all your “The Masked Singer” spoilers, including the answer to the question, “Who is Miss Cleocatra”?

It was this past November — when CBS’ NCIS like most of TV was still on a strikes-extended hiatus — that Sean Murray marked the 20th anniversary of his debut as Special Agent Timothy McGee.
McGee in that span of time has become a husband… a father (to twins, whom apparently no one on the cast can name!)… and a lead agent, in the wake of Tony Dinozzo’s May 2016 departure.
