well damn

I certainly hope this gets renewed for a second season, otherwise we'll all be SOL. I guess I should say good cliffhanger though. Good episode in terms of storyline and acting.

What was ending all about?
chrisowen-0787119 February 2021
Really enjoyed this series except personally I do not like the fact it keeps going backwards and forwards in time. The ending of series was ridiculous as no one knows whose funeral it is or why there has been a big fallout between the two leading ladies. It would only make any sense if another series was definitely going ahead which it appears not despite only half the book being covered so far

WHAT?
gwood_801066 February 2021
Maybe I lost something but I have no clue why Kate wanted nothing to do with Tully on the last episode.

Suspenseful cliffhanger
dbuckshnis24 February 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Great 1984 scene Tully with the entire male dominated issues going on with successful, intelligent women (I was in the world of finance). I am more enamored with Kate but don't get the divorce, but I do like the Travis kissing scene. I really love Max - and wow that story line - he takes so much drama from T. Maura is a fine young actress and can hardly wait to see her story develop. All the characters are growing on me - love the 60's family Christmas scene. It's Archie Bunker all over! Perfect setup for season 2

Cliff hanger SPOILERS
supp136 March 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Our last real info is from Christmas/New Years Eve of 2003/2004 when Tully has hit piece about her mom, pregnancy, marriage, miscarriage, apparent end of marriage w Max, end of her show but plans to create again with Kate. Kate has year of separation and divorce from Johnny, heavy flirtation with Travis and quitting her new job BC of hit piece on Tully. Johnny has aspirations to do real reporting which he puts over marriage to Kate although he still loves her and can't make marriage work. He is apparently injured from an IED in Iraq on New Years Eve. Kate's brother Sean who has been married for two decades comes out to his wife and is kicked out of house. Bud and Margie are still married.

Then ? Years later, Kate and a more mature Marah are at a funeral for Kates dad Bud. We see Sean, alone, but don't see Margie or Johnny. Kate and Tully have a confrontation outside church over something big. All I can guess is that some action by Tully caused another separation or injury between Kate and Johnny. I don't believe a betrayal at work could have done this but who knows? It had to be big BC Kate forgives EVERYONE FOR EVERYTHING.

Not even a whisper about a Season 2?
BluePinot19 February 2021
I don't ever mind waiting for another season because that's just the way it's done and expected. But this ending was ridiculous without a clue if Season 2 will happen. It was like getting through a thick book to find out someone ripped out the last 2 chapters and there's no other copies in print.

Loved the characters. Enjoyed the show, but if I'd known we were just left "hoping" for a next season, I would not have wasted my time until I knew for sure.

Missing info
nutriologacristina21 February 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I liked the show. A bit dull sometimes and too many "trying" to find love from Kate. On the last show I felt something was missing: the name Bud wasn't clear and the fight between the "all time friends" didn't fit... reading comments I see it was not just me... was that a dumb hook for the season 2?

WHAT?
debb-349187 February 2021
This series was barely "OK" but then to stick with it and be left hanging with no hopes for a season 2. There went 8 hours of my life I'll never get back.

Glitch City

Warning: Spoilers
The whole set of scenes at the church seemed out of sync with the story line. It did make one consider who had died, however episode 10 dropped something out of nothing. Why Kate did not want to see Tully ever was not foreshadowed. And it was the end of the show? It was running out of steam earlier. Bad direction - continuity.

Missing point
cohenjacquie19 February 2021
I quite liked this story of a friendship between two girls. But I really didn't understand what happened at the end. Why Kate can't forgive Tully ? It's not explained in the story. That's very annoying.

Warning: Spoilers
I went back to episode 7 and rewatched because I couldn't figure out why Kate was so angry with Tully. By the Bud was her father. Need another episode at least to explain the mystery!

Absolutely will not watch next season-IF it happens!
dpetex422 April 2021
What a STUPID ending-worst cliffhanger I have ever watched. Don't waste your time if you haven't started the series yet! Show is tolerable at best and then to be left with what feels like a missing episode.

No season 2
rswunsch13 March 2021
Please, I've been through enough. This show could have been very good in 2-3 episodes. No reason for 10. And speaking of 10. WHAT THE HELL?
