This story is not really a cop show, although cops are involved. This time, Peeper is not undercover in a gang or in a criminal ring, but impersonates a female friend of a husband who beats his wife. Nothing more, but everything here is highly convincing, especially the woman beater's mother who explains many things about her son's behaviour. That's an unusual and agreeable episode. Don't miss the characterization and also forget the action line that you will hardly see anyway. No car chases and that changes. As I wrote for the summary line, that's nothing more than a domestic drama, which may be more than realistic and appropriate than the other topics of this TV show. And many persons can also feel themselves more than concerned by this scheme, more than they could be with the usual crime topics of the other episodes, involving gangsters.
