Some of the action scenes seemed almost cartoonish. I don't know how they figured they were paying tribute to the original or real Road House. Its an insult to the original and still far better movie. This move has none of the things that made the original or memorable, Ie no doctor with bolt on breast, no bartender banging someone on his break, no monster truck being drove thru a dealership, no 'pain don't hurt' and most importantly no heart. There was no redemption of a town that was being held down by a power hungry prick, this was all about a land grab for a resort. I honestly think Patrick Swayze could have mopped the floor with the whole lot of them.
