Stuck it out to the end, but that was even worse than the rest of this mess

The good: beautifully filmed, some engaging acting. The bad: murky and unbelievable plot crept along. The awful: Everything about the final episode. Some scenes were so dark it was hard to figure out who was doing what to whom. A new character suddenly appears and wraps everything up with extremely long and poorly-written exposition. Why everybody lets the new character suddenly take over is not at all clear. Everybody is armed, but allows the newcomer to take charge and spoil all of the plans they've been working for months and even years. I had to wonder if the writers wrote themselves into a corner and just gave up. And the endless frequent commercial breaks!
