I loved this show and that Sam Waters was an intuitive, kind profiler. When they replaced her with Rachel Burke it ruined the show, Rachel was just the stereotypical mouthy tough chick, who made a lot of veiled sexual type comments. Such a cliche' and done so many times before in cop shows, Sam was a unique personality for the feds, I don't think the big bosses understood the appeal of having a profiler who wasn't an egomaniac. The rest of cast was great, some real talent in the crew, and the story lines interwoven with Jack kept it fresh.
I also liked the visual artistry of the clips around Jack, the blue tint was very effective.
