I'll admit, I was on the sidelines with this but gave it a shot on an otherwise bored evening. This turned out to be a 'diamond in the rough' movie. One of those that you don't think you'll like after ten minutes but I found myself on the edge of me seat.
The storyline might be a bit cheesy, but the spirit, heart, and energy of the movie proves to be better than a lot of the junk that Hollywood has tried to make us believe is good.
What I liked the most was the tongue in cheek humor that a lot might miss. Danny Trejo adds his own style of off brand comedy to it.
All I can say is that this real life auto dealer did very darn good in honoring his real life 'nana' and I am very impressed, and I am one who is extremely jaded for these types of movies.
Good job, Mr. Charlie Clark! I only hope that maybe someone in Hollywood will see this for the absolute true gem that it is!
