Interesting B Movie

Warning: Spoilers
I saw Green Ghost and the Masters of the Stone, starring Charlie Clark-Daddy's Home, Pepe & Santo vs. America; Sofia Pernas-Jane the Virgin_tv, The Young and the Restless_tv; Kuno Becker-Dallas_tv, CSI:Miami_tv; Marko Zaror-Alita:Battle Angel, Machete Kills and Danny Trejo-The Flash_tv, the Machete movies.

This is an interesting B movie. It was written and produced by Charlie Clark and filmed in Brownsville, Texas. Charlie Clark stars as Charlie Clark, a car salesman that spends his nights in a Lucha libre styled wrestling persona of The Green Ghost. I don't remember much wrestling in the movie, but there is lots of martial arts. When Charlie was a kid, he was adopted by Nana and her Mexican family-his real family thought it would be best. Kuno plays his brother and Sofia is his sister-both are martial artists. Charlie soon learns about a legend concerning a green emerald with strange powers that he, Sofia and Kuno must keep out of the hands of Marko, who has evil plans for it. Danny plays one of the martial arts masters that tries to whip Charlie into shape to take on Marko and his associates. There are lots of martial arts fights, some humor and a couple of songs by Robert Rodriguez and his band, Chingon. Earlier, I said this was an interesting movie. During the end credits, there are pictures shown of Charlie and an elderly Spanish woman-his Nana?-as well as Charlie at a car dealership that he owns. His name is on the business. I guess it's supposed to make you think that this is based on a true story. I don't know.

It's rated PG-13 for violence and language and has a running time of 1 hour & 35 minutes.

I enjoyed it enough that I would buy it on DVD.
