A Million Little Things (2018–2023)

Relatable and Beautiful 🌟

Think you're too good for a soapy drama? Think again!

Some of us turn to TV to escape. Others turn to TV to feel and find stories like their own. Whether it's an experience that everyone lives, like a broken heart, or a more nuanced life-long battle like racism, addiction, depression or assault, this show covers the most intense and raw life experiences with compassion and great story-telling.

Season 2 had its rough patches but season 3, mostly aired in 2021 acknowledges the pandemic but continues to build the rich stories these wonderful characters are telling. Roam becomes the strong one. Gary becomes the wonderful uncle. Sophie reckons with what so many young girls have to deal with. Maggie is just Maggie. :)

Long story short, this show is beautifully done. And if you're missing the funny escapism of Friends or Psych (heyyy James Roday Rodriguez) or think you're too good for a soap, I challenge you to watch a few episodes and see if you won't fall in love with this show and it's rich, diverse characters too. Never thought I'd say this but - Thank you, ABC!
