Those who are expecting it to be like the Transformers will be disappointed by the animation. The story are better, but not much. The human characters are stereotypical especially the old crazy bad guy scientist. The only really interesting human character is the young black teen who is one of the few portrayals of a black teen scientists. The female gobots are not sexy as the female autobots are portrayed. It is not anime or Japanese animation. If you like Hanna Barbara cartoons, you will like it. If not, this is not a cartoon for you.
