"Jacob The Liar" seems to have been a forgotten movie of Robin Williams. I have never heard of it, and upon looking it up, it was a Box Office flop that was slated by critics, but that doesn't mean it's not a good movie that is worth checking out.
Bob Balaban, Hannah Taylor Gordon, Liev Shrieber, Alan Arkin and the wonderful Michael Jeter (who I've been a fan of since I first seen him in the TV show "Evening Shade" with Burt Reynolds) all offer superb support to Williams who is excellent.
When Williams is in roles like this I find he can really touch me. I find him to be an excellent actor who was not really appreciated for his dramatic talents.
Anyone who wants to watch a touching movie that will also make you smile, should check this out.
