The original was cutesy and fun, if kinda dumb. The women in my family LOVED the movie, and I found it watchable.
Fast-forward to yesterday... They took the likable main character, made us HATE her and removed any other goodness that could have possibly carried over from the other movie. They then stretched the sequel to 2 hours and 5 minutes of sloppy film-making in desperate search of an editor (maybe it needed a script writer and a director first).
It takes big balls to publicly complain about what was sure to be a bad sequel to a mediocre movie... and I have those balls. What a piece of crap.
