This is the closest account of Dumas' "Queen Margot" so far (I haven't seen 1954 version yet). Certainly, French version may be more colorful regarding costumes and locations (in the end, this is French history) but their "La Reine Margot" deviates far from the original source. Strongly recommended for those who looks for the true interpretation of classics.
