What's not to like!
Gblakelii3 January 2018
With one of the best celebrity casts in a while, better if you enjoy Country Music, extra stars for TV broadcast only, songs from Broadway casts, and a very good line-up of giant balloons, this is a must watch event! Watch it for the tradition, parade #1 was in 1924. Watch it for the celebrities, where else can you see so many? Watch it for the giant balloons-who is your favorite? In many ways it's better to see in person but on this TV broadcast there are exclusives. Surprise interviews by Al Roker, such as stars from Chicago Med and Blind Spot. At the opening of the show see Whoopi Goldberg, Steve Harvey, Thalia, among others. Special TV only song numbers by Gwen Stefani and Kelsea Ballerini. Some of this year's parade stars have been there before: 98 Degrees, Patti Labelle and Jimmy Fallon. New giant balloons: Olaf from Frozen; the Grinch promoting his 2018 feature movie, and Paw Patrol. Harold the baseball player returns as a special 70th anniversary nod to Miracle on 34th Street, and the old parade veteran, Rex the Happy Dragon, to name a few. See it in person or see it on TV, but see it! And don't forget about the singing Christmas tree!

ARE YOU STILL THE ONE FOR MACY'S THANKSGIVING DAY PARADE? ?
patrandassoc22 November 2018
Ok..it hard for me not to see Mickey Mouse open the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade as done in 2017. Change is difficult, hard and tough. I grew up watching Mickey and still do. Yes, I bought the Mickey Mouse earrings, the Mickey Mouse Ears and all. I even wore them on my my body...here, there, and everywhere. So, this year is it still about the Pillsbury Dough Boy as the opening float.. I say to you here today with me...it is good to share the spotlight, but Mickey doesn't have to give up the number one spot as host of opening, closing and even during the Thanksgiving Parade. Let Mickey retain his spot as Host of the Thanksgiving Day Parade. There can be a co- host for Thanksgiving Day. Opening should be Mickey, Minnie, and the Mickey Mouse Kids. During the Parade, you can have the co-host like Pillsbury Dough Boy featured. Then at the end of the parade show Minnie and the Mickey Mouse Kids waving goodbye along with the "See you next year" end words. Then, watch your stock value in Mickey Mouse soar up! What do you think? BTW, I am signing off to go watch the Thanksgiving Day Parade.
