Midnight Writer: An Interview with Writer George Gallo (2016)

This twenty-four minute interview with writer George Gallo is going to be a great treat to fans of MIDNIGHT RUN. Gallo starts off talking about how he got interested in writing and talks about a few of his early screenplays. The focus then shifts to MIDNIGHT RUN where we get all sorts of wonderful information including him talking about his original idea, how he sold the picture and then we get into the production. If you're a fan of MIDNIGHT RUN then you're going to get some great stories here including Gallo talking about throwing all sorts of stuff into the screenplay simply because he didn't know any better. He also talks about the original idea of having Cher play the Charles Grodin character as well as a much darker ending. Even the sequel gets brought up with Gallo sharing his honest views on it. Again, fans are really going to love this interview as it covers so much ground and really gives you a great idea of what it was like on the set during the production.
