- There is a car accident where blood is shown coming out of a man's nose and then drops of blood go into a coffee he's making.
- In the fifth episode, Carol finds a man dead in his office cubicle. Her and two other characters then place his body in a car trunk and drive around trying to find relatives of the dead man to take his body, but they are unable to and eventually turn the body over to the police. At the end of the episode, the man's ashes are scattered on the office's rooftop, with Carol holding a wake for him.
