"Astray" tells a story of lost love, finding yourself and reflecting on what could have been rather slowly, but deeply and attentively. The plot is carried by Thierry Godard as the protagonist, who gives a sincere, genuine and believable performance full of emotions that really draws us into the film. The story itself is quite simple, but the cinematography, production design and music score really do make this picture. "Astray" is definitely not for everyone (as some people could find it a bit boring), but fans of more artistic films could truly enjoy this intimate tale (as I did.) I can gladly recommend it to fans of French cinema.
