- The opening scene takes place in a fish-factory locker room, where the female staff are changing. Some are casually topless (non-sexual).
- There is a brief scene of lesbian cunnilingus (no nudity).
- During a prison visit, the two main female characters kiss passionately.
- There is a fight scene between one of the main characters and another inmate in the womens' prison showers. One is fully nude and the other is wearing translucent underwear. This goes on for some time until broken up by the prison guards. Violent but not bloody.

- The main character is nude in the bath with her breasts clearly seen - the patriarch barges in to the room and briefly threatens her non-sexually.

- The patriarch is suffocated while gravely ill in hospital. This is witnessed by his daughter, who colludes with the murderer in pretending to the staff that the death is from natural causes. This is somewhat disturbing.
