Art as healing, exploration, catharsis, in a delicate puzzle box inspired loosely by Isadora Duncan's life; the whole really comes together with the magnificent, devastatingly moving third act.

A dance for all ages and bodies...

An intriguing and sensitive film, a meditation on a dance performance inspired by an artist's personal tragedy. In the present day four women of different ages and backgrounds are finding their way to craft this performance. While I wasn't in the best state of mind to absorb this work, I truly appreciated seeing bodies I hardly ever see involved in artistic dance, surrendering themselves to it.
