If these four reels had been condensed to two or even three it would have made for the improvement of the interest of the picture. The photography is of the usual rare Great Northern quality. There are fine views of ocean, cliff and field. A rescue is made of a child that has fallen down a precipice. A machine is thrown over an embankment and wrecked. There are other sensational incidents. The picture will please many. - The Moving Picture World, November 1, 1913
