1984
A world-famous opera singer suffering from physical and emotional exhaustion is admitted to a hospital for recuperation. During her stay she is befriended by a young woman whose own illness is far worse. The friendship they share and the positive attitude the singer witnesses in the young woman's interactions with her family restores her faith in the essential goodness of life and inspires her to resume her career with renewed inspiration and gratitude.

A minister who has a fatal illness resigns his church and prepares to take a sea voyage to the Holy Land to fulfill a life-long dream. At the dock he encounters an elderly Jewish man who is desperate to return home to his family in Jerusalem, only to learn that there are no more tickets available. As the two men become friends, the minister is faced with the choice of fulfilling his own dream or sacrificing his need for the good of another.

Ten-year old Tammy refuses to wrap a Christmas present intended for her cousin, hoping to keep the doll for herself. Later, through a dream, she travels back to Bethlehem to witness a little stableboy's act of unselfish love when he gives the Christ child his pet lamb. Tammy then realizes how sharing presents with others is a way of sharing God's love at Christmastime.
