I remember watching Foley Square soon after it debuted in 1985, and the legal setting interested me, and it was a decade or so before Ally McBeal, but maybe, just maybe it was the inspiration for this. But anyway, Foley Square was kind of the counter to the flashy law firm of L. A. Law, but still worth watching.
Margaret Colin headed the cast as Alex Harrigan, the new District Attorney. What's of major interest is that Foley Square was created by Diane English, who soon after created the megahit Murphy Brown, so it's good to see Diane achieve success in her craft after toiling away init right.
