I was very excited to watch this mini series. It had so much promise....treasure hunting under the gaze of Glastonbury Tor. The first episode was not too disappointing but the excessive use of the F word and the incredibly irritating music slightly detracted from what looked like a winner. From then on the series just went downhill...ridiculous storylines, cardboard characters and disappointing acting - James Buckley is a sham of an actor! The final episode was beyond ridiculous - the changes of the personalities from happy, family folk to evil killers made me want to scream. A dark comedy or gritty drama - neither. Give it a wide berth and watch Detectorists (again)!
