I looked at this due to the high rating on IMDB thinking that it was actually funnier than the impression I was gaining from the ads promoting it.
The premise is that (for unknown reasons) a girl flashes a driver (who she doesn't know) as she is crossing the street causing the driver to run over a dog which they take to a vet (an ex of the driver - what are the chances?) for treatment. This is the "boy meets girl" part of the plot and all sorts of fun is supposed to ensue.
The characters live in an inner city area filled with "quirky" personalities who are supposed to provide the laughs I assume.
I tried watching it but couldn't get through the first episode. I got as far as the toilet scene where she was about to use a plastic bag to clear a toilet which wasn't flushing.
Unfortunately I failed to find the hilarious laugh-out-loud moments others have noted. The acting was less than stellar and the jokes (such as they are) are telegraphed well in advance and frankly barely raised a smile. I don't think the show is anywhere near as funny as it believes itself to be.
