Io ti cercherò (2020– )
6/10
A promising beginning but huge disappointment by the end

Warning: Spoilers
Despite a few good characters and actors, this increasingly chaotic series ended being a huge disappointment. It started out ok but after the first few episodes, the rationality and logic left the storyline. The flashbacks could have helped explain what came to pass in what happened to the son, but alas, it was all just superficial window dressing. None of the main characters developed in any way that pulled you into their lives or worlds, and despite being bombarded by 'mood' music, scenery and locations, you just don't care about anyone really. The worst outcome came to be though: no explanation other than some sort of involvement with 6 apartments somewhere and a bunch of peripheral types, including refugees, who are part of this whole fiasco, yet not really clear how or why. It was just a foggy series overall and a shame of such potential acting talent. I would give it a miss and stick with something more riveting like Montalbano or even Suburra. At least they each have some interesting characters and humour. And endings you can understand and accept.
