This pilot episode was made in a time where children series took out any serious topic. And it is not a bad watch. Characters are introduced and there was an interesting inclusion of Dazzler.
Some of the great things about this pilot were the animation and designs. The characters looks great. Especially Storm, Emma Frost are amazing. The Aussie accent of Wolverine is not for everyone.
It is very tailored to kids and it's probably great that it didn't get picked up in that format. Margaret Loesch is the producer behind the pilot and eventually pushed for the series to get another change in 90s and for the first movie (trilogy) to be made.
