I was searching for best movies on boxing and came across this one. However, it turned out to be another mawkish nazi drama and doesn't have much to do with boxing. The big surprise(!) comes in the second half. The movie depicts how it was difficult to have homosexual affair in a nazi boarding school. It uses every possible cliché about nazis to augment sentimentality. It is only watchable because of nice photography, although a bit weak on special effects.
