Underbelly at its finest
16 January 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I was hooked from the opening credits and the familiar lyric 'it's a jungle out there'.

An absolute gem.

Characters from previous instalments of the Underbelly series' appear and bring their own iconic egos to the screen and credibility to the tale.

The acting is natural and understated, with Chopper having an air of Christian Bale about him. The feel of the film is very Australian cinema.

There were moments where I winced - blow torch to the feet, ears about to be sliced... and moments where I laughed out loud; most notably when Chopper is watching 'Chopper' at the cinema.

If you are an Underbelly fan then this is a must. If you haven't seen any, here is as good a place to start.
