Fun enough reboot!!

Warning: Spoilers
Have to say that this one was quite surprising for a remake of a iconic 80s horror movie.

What I liked about this one was the beginning murder spree. I liked how they included the characters names from the first movie and changing the setting from a house to a cabin out in the middle of nowhere. After the sole survivor Trish supposedly kills murderer Russ Thorne, it jumps to years later when her teenage daughter Dana is going away with some girlfriends for a camping trip. The twist in this is, that the girls purposely are going to stay in a cabin across from where her mother and friends were attacked. They believe the driller killer survived and has been responsible for several disappearances over the years in that area and they vow to trap him and kill him.

The only problem is that five murder obsessed boys are staying in the other cabin where the original murder spree took place and the girls end up fighting Russ Thorne to help protect the boys.

Thank God the boys die off quickly, especially after that half naked pillow fight they engage in. Very strange to see an all boy pillow fight with them pouring champagne all over each other.

Anyways, once the girls easily take the killer down, someone else hiding in the shadows begins to pick the girls off one at a time.

Definitely enjoyed the brutal kill scenes in this one and I personally thought it was a fantastic reboot!
